Two Years Later
The engagement lasted two years. Cameron wanted his family to attend the wedding, and worked hard to mend the bridge between them. In the end, his father and two of his four siblings had accepted his invitation. It had taken patience, a lot of talking, some solo trips to Beauville, and a few nights spent crying into his fiancé’s arms.
Even though his family had never been supportive, Cameron was delighted that some of them were willing to come.
“I’m just excited for them to see us so happy,” he explained. “I want them to know how wonderful things are for me. I want to show them that I made the right decisions; that you’re the right decision.”
