Continue Prologue

The next morning I woke up to a volt of electricity, and there were two men by the side of my bed and one in front of me saying "Hello Andra".
I was shocked that this stranger knew my name. As a six year old I thought ‘do they know mom and dad?’
I said with a shaky voice "How do you know my name?"
The man just laughed, "I know everyone darling."
He said to his people "Why don't you guys show Miss Andra here to the kitchen, let the cook show her how to cook, and then when you are done take Miss Andra to the cleaner to learn how to clean".
As time grew on, I became the maid of the pack house. From six years old I cooked, cleaned, and never got to eat food that anyone cooked, not even take out or fast food shops, only if the alpha allowed.
But he allowed me to go to school at least, and that's where I met Emma, my best friend. She helped me get through everything I had been through. And there's this guy, Noah. He’s the Beta’s son, and my enemy. He always picks on me, and no one is allowed to lay a hand on him or else the alpha punishes you because well you know he's the Beta’s son. But I learned to just ignore him and go about my day even if I wanted to slap him across the face.
Anyways I know it eats him inside when I show no reaction so it's kind of like payback to him.
One day I was walking home from school with Emma. When I saw Noah and his g**g passing by us. I thought ‘oh no’.
Just as I finished my thought, Noah said "oh look at the ugly two ducks walking home alone."
"Leave us alone Noah". I said he then laughs right in our faces, then left.
I was so furious with him but more at me for letting him talk to me like that. But I let it slide for now. He had no idea what I had in store for him the next day.
Today was the day I finally turned eighteen and I was out of here. But of course, I had to go to school and come back and do my chores, and then I am out of here.
The morning as my day went on, I could smell this scent so strongly. It smelt of green lemon grass. It was so enticing to my senses, that I found myself sniffing the air in the direction. Following it to find the source, on the way, I bumped into Noah and the smell was so strong, it came from him and then I realized that Noah was my mate. Immediately realization hit Noah, at that point, my mind was spinning.
I didn't want him as my mate and then I heard Noah say " I Noah Daniel Carter reject you, Andra as my mate". And he walked off with a smile on his face.
I was shocked, well at least I didn't have to reject him first, I thought to myself. This will be payback.
Then I said " I Andra Hazel Emerson reject you Noah Daniel Cater as my mate".
I could see Noah bent over and I knew that he felt the pain and I smiled as I walked down the hall.
Then I said "I know you regret rejecting me after you found out who I'm right?" As he stood there bent over I went ahead with my day.
The day went on like normal. As it came closer to the end of day. I felt hands pull me aside. And to my surprise it was Noah, "What do you want Noah?" I asked with an annoyed voice.
"I want you back Andra ", he said.
