After eating a whole three fluttering eels, James and Chelsea took out a tent from the trunk of the car and set it up some distance from the beach. It was a large tent so there was enough space in it to occupy them both. The top of the tent was transparent and they could see the starry skies.
“What will you do when we find the Highway Brothers?” Chelsea asked James. They were lying on their backs with their eyes trained on the stars.
“Relax, I’m vengeful but not that vengeful. You should be asking how I plan to keep them away from you, which of course, I won’t tell you” James smiled lightly. Chelsea was the one more likely to put a bullet in someone’s head in revenge. And with the way she continued to suppress her grief, James felt that he would need to keep her away from them.
