When KS had left them behind in Zonal Area 27, Cynthia and the rest of the team knew very well why Atratia had refused to allow them to return so they requested to be sent out of that Zonal Area so that they could rid themselves of the harmful influence that caused them to become discriminating. Fortunately, Atratia hadn't given up on them and their request was very quickly accepted and they were transferred to Zonal Area 2. Since then Cynthia had been able to control her hatred for men and even eliminate it and now she was a Sentinel. Although the Military Division (Sentinel) no longer existed, the ranks were consistent with their new Division.
