Letters and arrivals.

The rays which peek from the open part of the window, blinds directly into Dalia’s eyes, that she neither can continue her sleep, nor, neglect the blindness her eyes faces in the early morning. Dalia stirs on the bed, turning her body to the left with excitement on her face only to face the realization that her reason for such feeling, is no longer present, as disappointment washes over her, at the absence of her mate, knowing he must have left while she was deep asleep. Dalia sighs on the bed, as she lets her arms and legs sprawl the entire bed, reminiscing she and Lucien’s late night conversations, while putting Sebastian to sleep the previous night. Her thoughts recalling how Lucien requested her to come live at his chambers with him and what her response was. At first she was angered by the fact that Lucien was not taking her words seriously, especially when she had just outburst at him, yet, all he cared about was her coming to stay with him, but, when she realized just what he was doing and the reason for his actions, whatever anger surfaced, died down instantly, and she accepted his request. Their conversations continued, as they laughed while Lucien rocked Sebastian effortlessly, giving her relief to her legs of finally hitting and resting on the bed, while she adored him putting her brother to sleep, and one thing became certain in Dalia’s mind, that Lucien is going to make an excellent father.  At the thought of children with Lucien, it did bring a sense of relief and calmness to Dalia, that she didn’t know when slumber took her and she left Lucien all alone to cater for Sebastian, which in Lucien’s thought, he never minded at all, rather a smile laid his lips as he stared at his little family. Yes, his little family. The exact word Lucien envisaged, as Sebastian may not be their son, but as long as he is for Dalia, so is he for him, as Dalia may not know it now, but they are for better or worse, and for eternity. One which he plans on defining in the near future. Dalia still stirs on the bed as her memories drifts still to the previous night, and how she felt Lucien’s body against her in the middle of the night, as he slept close to her. Her body reacting on reflex to her mate, as she snuggled closer to him, having a sound rest she hasn’t had in long time, yet, all is short lived by the present absence of Lucien. With nothing to do on a day like this, since the next competition won’t take place till a week after the previous one, Dalia’s gaze wanders around her room while she still lays on the bed, until a certain piece of paper on her table takes her attention. With easy steps, Dalia locates her way to the table, picking up the white sheet that sit on it, while her gaze reads through the words boldly written on it. My love, It saddens me that I have to bear you this news while in my absence, yet, I dare not wake you while you sleep soundly against my chest. Hearing your light breathings as they go in and out, along with the your beautiful locks that covers your skin. I write this letter to you, in great admiration of what a lucky man I am to have you by my side, as I smile brightly while reminiscing memories of us, and more to come.  I will be leaving the palace for the whole day, and it pains me for not having to be able to spend time with you, and fulfill my promises to you as a mate, but, I promise to do each and every once I return. News of Amarok terrorizing a town down east reaches me, and with such disturbing news, I fear if I do not leave the palace to ambush him, terrible deaths will arise.  I have arranged for your properties to be sent to my chambers. Please, do make yourself at home till I return, which I will soon. Take good care of yourself and Sebastian for me.  Love, Lucien. ——————- “Dalia!!!” The length at which Dalia’s lips curl into a smile, so extravagant that she feels her cheek hurting, yet, with the triplets that run to her, that is the least of her worries. Their little hands wrapping around her waist, hugging her with immense joy as they reach her, while her own covers the three. “I was not informed of your arrival today.” Dalia speaks, as the same smile stays on her lips. “Nevertheless, I couldn’t be more glad to have you three back.” Dalia caresses their back. “We have missed you too much and when Mr wenbows informed us that our trip had ended, it was the best news ever.” Usupus speaks as that makes Dalia to chuckle. “And I have missed you all too much, and also Sebastian.” Dalia says. “Where is Sebastian by the way?” Zeniela asks to Dalia. “Oh he is taking a nap. Sebastian decided to be naughty and not have an early sleep last night.” Dalia informs them. “Probably because he was also anticipating our arrival.” Aridos speaks, taking Dalia to chuckle again. “My babies!” All four turn at the familiar voice that speaks, as the triplets now carry another form of excitement on their faces seeing their mother. “Mother!!!” Each of them racing to their mother, as Lagartha spreads her hands open for them, as when they reach, she circles them all in her embrace, before settling a kiss on each of them.  “I have missed you all dearly, I’m never letting you out of my sight again.” Lagartha speaking with love from her heart caress each of them.  “We missed you too mother,” Dalia watches with a smile on her lips, watching the mother and her children show animalistic acts, such as the snuggling and caressing that is mostly found in dogs, one that Dalia finds beautiful even if different, as all she can see is their expression of affection to one another. “Now, why don’t you three go up and get a change of clothes, have a good meal which I have them prepared for you and then, you will tell me all about your trip.” Lagartha tells her children, as they neither resist nor complain to her words, rather they nod diligently before doing as told. Lagartha watches her children walk away from her, before her gaze leaves them to land on Dalia whom still stares beautifully at the scene, while Lagartha walks towards her. “Your highness,” Dalia greets Lagartha upon approaching her. “How are you Dalia?” Lagartha asks with a friendly gaze. “Very well your highness. And you?” Dalia responds. “Well, with my children’s arrival, I feel immensely happy.” Lagartha explains, as a Dalia smiles. “There is something I will like to discuss with you Dalia.” Lagartha begins, perking up Dalia’s full attention. “Of course, your highness.” Dalia nods. “It’s no news that you are my son’s mate, which means, either he wins the competition or not, you have become one of us, hence, a Royal.” Lagartha begins with full concentration of Dalia. “For that, it is required of you to know certain things about becoming one and lesson you will need to take.” Lagartha adds. “Lesson which I presume should not be a problem to you?” Lagartha questions Dalia. “Not at all your highness.” Dalia accepts. “Good. Then you should be ready by tomorrow morning, your first class begins.” Lagartha tells Dalia with a smirk on her lips as Dalia’s gaze goes wide. “So soon? I mean...I didn’t realize it will be this soon.” Dalia rearranges her words. “Also, not to be hesitant your highness, but I do have classes I take with lady Eve and also studying which seems to take up my day.” Dalia explains to the Queen as her smirk can only go wider. “First lesson about being a Royal Dalia, is to know how to multitask.” Lagartha speaks, as with her words Dalia dares not counter. “If that is heard, be prepared by tomorrow morning.” Lagartha insist, as that gets Dalia’s mouth to go agape, at how the Queen has just brushed her words to the side. Dalia whom believed, she will atleast get some hours of free time, from tending to Sebastian, reading books and training with Lady Eve, yet, it seems impossible as the Queen has just laid down an order to her. An order she dare not refuses. “Enjoy the rest of your day, Dalia.” Lagartha with a smile of intent on her lips, speaks to Dalia, as it is in her very best knowledge of what she has just done, whereas to her, this is how she builds a Queen for her people, and also a Luna. Hearing Lagartha’s words, Dalia doesn’t know when a large exhale erupts her lips, as the Queen walks away, making Dalia to pity her own self. “Oh heavens.”
