One of the things that makes romance exciting is the thrill of reading the other person's signals. Did her constant smiling at you mean she's interested? Does her consistent replying to your messages show she wants to talk to you even more? Is her body language showing that she's attracted to you?
That unspoken hint of appeal and interest makes the experience a lot more stimulating.
But, on the other hand, these signals might become a factor of your demise. What if you read those signals wrongly? What if you misinterpreted her friendliness as interest? What if you're just naive enough to think someone is into you when in fact, they're just being nice?
Reading the signs and signals should have been a crash course taught in school because, damn, it would have helped me out a lot of times.
