Chapter Ten

-Ella's P.O.V -

After seeing Chase and getting his number i was itching to get back home so i could text him and actually talk about last night i had so many questions for him but Marcus was moving at a slow pace and was chewing my ear off about Chase and i was pretty sure if i rolled my eyes anymore i was either going to go dizzy or they was going to fall out " look all i'm saying is that you looked like you knew each other" panted Marcus as he jumped over a fallen tree "and like i said i had just met him seconds before you showed up i figured he's from town and you know at some point i will have to meet people from around here" i replied picking up the pace slightly "wait why will you?" i looked over my shoulder to give him a look that said really and realized he had stopped running i stopped and turned back towards him " i'm seventeen i should of been back in school weeks ago it's my senior year you know prom graduate go off to collage" i rolled my hand around hoping he would catch what i'm saying and he looked dumbfounded at me and slightly shocked " of course i'm sorry sweetie i forget your still only young i will have a talk with Emerson about getting you sorted at a school ok" he replied before beginning to run again much quicker this time i turned as he passed me and shook my head 'seriously how old did he think i was' i thought to myself.

Once Marcus had picked up his pace it only took us five minutes to get back to the cabin once we got in i went straight upstairs to her a bath to soak my muscles they didn't particularly hurt or anything but i was use to running on pavement not a forest and my legs felt a little tight, as i walked into my bedroom i couldn't help but smile as i closed the door Chase was something else he was definitely a handsome man his brown eyes reminded me of luxury hot chocolate on a cold winter night and his smile looked like it could make every girl turn their head and fight for his attention i walked over to my bed and dropped my phone on it resisting the urge i had to message him instead of getting changed and walked off into my bathroom and set the bath running i knew it would take a little while to fill as the pressure in the pipes was rubbish so i set about getting my cloth for the day i figured that after nearly four weeks it was time i headed out and explored this town and i was going to drag Henry with me if i could or i would go on my own i hadn't touched my allowance for quite some time so i could go on a little shopping spree if i wanted to and good lord did i want to and as god as my witness their had better be a diner open i was about ready to rip my own arm off for a cheese burger and fries and a nice strawberry shake to go with it i know it sounds simple and so not what a girl would eat in Miami but after nearly a month of eating but nothing but stew and stakes i needed normal food and that would be my go to,

i opened up my wardrobe and flipped threw my clothes and fount a cute pair of ripped jeans a grey AC/DC shirt and my black waist coat and a cute pair of black heeled lace up ankle boots that had decorative buckles on them and placed them on my bed before i grabbed a matching set of black bra and panties.

just as i was about to go into the bathroom i hear my cell chime for the first time in weeks and i all but jumped out of my skin before realizing what it was i was actually starting to think it had been disconnected or something it had been that quiet i picked it up unplugging my headphones and walked back into the bathroom to turn off the water and added my bath salts as i let the salt dissolve i checked my cell only to see that i had a new message i hovered my finger over the little tab before opening it and smiling like crazy when Chases name popped up at the top of the message.

Chase: hey is this Ella?

Me: that it is, hey Chase

Chase: hi how was your run?

Me : it was fine some guy ran into me though think i hurt my butt :)

Chase : what an arse hope he said sorry and offered to buy yo a coffee to say sorry ;)

Me : no he didn't he was super rude and everything LOL

Chase : what a douche LOL so do you want to ?

Me : do i want to what?

Chase: get a coffee.....with me?

i stood for a moment before doing a little dance getting way over excited over a simple question of getting a coffee before i realized he would be waiting for a response

Me : yeah sure when and where?

Chase : crest cafe at 11:30 ?

Me : sounds good see you their :)

i checked the time on my cell before realizing i only had just over an hour to get their.. and find where their is i quickly googled the cafe which turned out to be in the town just south of hear and i stripped off and got in the bath.

by the time i had finished getting washed, dressed and put on a little make up it was 11 o'clock and i headed downstairs to find Henry which wasn't hard he was laid in his usual spot watching tv, i looked around for Emerson and Marcus but couldn't find them anywhere so i went back to Henry " hey Henry, i want to go clothes shopping in town want to come?" as i expected his eyes went wide as they could " erm... NO! why would i willingly go clothes shopping with a girl do i look gay?" he asked making a stupid face that had me laughing a little " no but i thought with me not knowing how to get their or the way there i thought you would love to help me out" i asked as sweetly as possible, he reached into his pocket and handed me a set of keys " don't wreck her, follow the dirt path to the main road turn left and go straight you will hit Crest falls after about twenty minutes you can't miss the shopping mall, give me you cell phone " he held his hands out for me to give him my cell which i did " if you get into any trouble call me and i'll come get you but to many bags does not count as trouble" he typed his number into my phone and took a weird selfie of himself and saved it before handing it back to me and then turning back to his programme i shrugged and left the cabin grabbing my purse and leather jacket from the peg by the door.

-Chase's P.O.V -

when i had gotten back to the pack house i found out that the 'emergency' was nothing more then his need for me to check over the training programme for the new recruits and to go into town and pick up some supplies for the orphanage i did as he asked and checked over the training programme before heading up to my room to get showered and changed to go into town it was then i had the brain wave it invite Ella i wanted to spend more time with her and inviting her for coffee in a way of saying sorry for knocking her down was perfect when i had gotten out the shower i had quickly messaged her and agreed to meet at the Crest cafe at 11:30 i sent up a silent prayer to the moon goddess that Ella was as kind and as caring as i hoped and set out picking up the list from my mother as i went i jumped in my black truck and drove the ten minute trip into town, i parked up a couple of shops from the cafe and jumped out only to be greeted by Stella the owner of the local flower shop i stood for a moment making small talk with Stella when a beaten up pick up truck parked up behind my truck and Ella jumped out taking my breath away slightly at the sheer sight of her with the wind blowing threw her hair i said my goodbye's to Stella and headed over to her " Ella, hey glad you made it" i smiled resisting the urge to embrace her "hey Chase please show me the way to the cafe i need real food " she laughed as she gave a dramatic pose " what do you mean real food?" i asked leading her towards the cafe "there's only so much stew a girl can eat before a salad is called for" she chuckled as she skipped ahead i stood still in shock their wasn't an ounce of fat on her she was perfect why would she think she needs to eat salad? i thought to myself slightly, Ella stop and look back at me bursting into fits of laughter " oh my your face is priceless" she ran back grabbing my arm and dragging me forward to the cafe i was snapped out of my state of shock seeing mischief in her eyes and realizing she was joking with me i began to laugh along with her "seriously though there will be salad.... on top of a cheese covered burger with a side order of fries" she giggled as i opened the door and lead her into the busy cafe i grabbed her hand as she stood inside the door and i lead her to a vacant booth as i relished in the sparks zipping up and down my arm.
