An accident on Franklin Avenue kept me stuck in standstill traffic for twenty minutes on the way to Nick’s warehouse in West Hollywood. When I finally pulled into the parking lot I noticed Cliff’s car in one of the spaces. The starseed had become fast friends with Nick and Jax, the three men bonding hard over their love of video games and pizza. I was glad for Cliff – despite his fun-loving exterior, I got the impression he’d been a bit of a loner most of his life. He’d grown up believing his father had left his mom when he was a baby, not knowing anything about starseeds or who he was.
