At the safe house, a timer ticks as Emily Thomas and Emrys go through stolen papers in THE DINNER PARTY. There is a highly detailed map of the East End, smothered in menacing little red Xs: factories, warehouses and surrounded by tightly-packed terraced worker housing. The scale and impact of the operation was massive.
Amrith said, his voice steady but filled with anger, and they wanted more than just the land. “They’re targeting people.”
Thomas' fists balled up, his knuckles turning white. Tomorrow night they expect to have it all done. We don't have a lot of time."
Emily looked at the map and her heart sank as she realized that it was much worse than they had thought. If they win, the East End is rendered impotent. It will place thousands of lives at risk.
