2. In trouble

The party ended and it was time to go home, Maddy left Gerald cause she has to come up with an idea to convince her parents. So, picked up a taxi and left. Her dad and mom were waiting for her at the door cause it's already getting late.

Maddie dropped out of the taxi and was surprised to see her parents home, what will she say, she's on her party dress, no lie would work. It made her surprised to see them home by this time cause the always come home late at nigh, sometimes, she would fall asleep and won't be able to see them untill the next morning.

Mom? Dad? She shocked, why are you back home this early?

Well young lady, could you explain why you're so late from school. Her mom yelled. Judging by the cloths on her, her mom could tell she's up to no good.

Calm down honey, let's take it easy. Mr, peters said trying to make his wife calm.

C'mon sweety, come in! Her dad told her.

Every minute, at that moment felt like an hour, she couldn't come up with any lie. Her mom looks like she was about to pounce on her.

Mom, Dad I'm sorry I didn't say this earlier but ... But what ?

Her mom didn't allow her to speak, she said what she wanted to say no one could interrupt her. She was done and left for her room. Leaving both dad and daughter downstairs.

Why is it such a big deal for me to go to a party, I wasn't even able to say anything. Maddy cried.

The next day was Saturday, so both mr. and mrs. Smith didn't go to work. The were preparing to go out for the weekend. Even Maddy is getting ready, she needs to go out, at least to clear her head from what happened yesterday. All three we ready to hop in the car when Evie came in.

Hi Mr. and mrs. Peters, Hi Maddy . Evie shouted from the door.

Evie! I missed you. Maddy ran to the door and gave her a hug. She had alot to tell her friend, obviously she missed her.

I'll come see you later, we were all heading to the park when you came in . Maddy told her.

See you later then . Evie said excitedly.

Evie waved at her friend and went back home. As they were about to start the trip, a car drove into the compound. He stopped at the Peters. Both parents and daughter shocked.

Who could that be? Maddy wondered.

The car owner, parked it in front of their apartment. A handsome young man came out of the car.

Gerald! Maddy was so surprised

Err, young man, who are you here for? Mr peters asked.

Hi Mr and Mrs peters. Gerald said as friendly as he could. What's up Maddy, where are you going.

Err...I.... She couldn't talk

Oh well, I came to see you. He told her.

Her parents were so confused. Even Maddy's confused. So many questions ran through her mind. These questions made her uncomfortable. How did he know where she stays, why is he here?

I hope he doesn't put me in more trouble. f**k! She curses underneath her breath.

She turned to look at her parents face, they were so confused, her mom looks vicious.

Oh! Sorry to throw you both in the dark, Maddy and I are dating! He said out aloud.

What! Mrs Peters said.

Mr Peters raised one of his eyebrows but couldn't say a word.

Oh no! He had put me in more trouble, as if yesterday wasn't enough. What should I do, what will I tell them? I'm in real trouble. Mom would literarily kill me. She panic.
