She pointed her crackling spear at Cannonball. “Unless you want to find out exactly how it feels to receive ten thousand volts of electricity fed directly to your brain.” Cannonball stood very still. Her helmet hid her face, making it impossible to tell what she was thinking or planning to do. I hoped that she was just so surprised to see Rubberman and the Lions that she didn’t know what to do. Still, I was confident that she would let me go. She had already lost to us once, after all. True, she probably threw our last fight as part of her plan, but I was confident that we could beat her
