Once inside the room the man had shown them, Kiara and Gabrielle couldn’t shake the uneasy familiarity, it looked too much like the rooms back at the mansion. The beds were neat, the walls bare, and the air carried that same faint, suffocating stillness. Praying they weren’t about to walk into the same fate again, they tried to shove the thought away. A knock came at the door. A young woman stepped inside carrying a tray of food and a small bundle of clothes.
