Nadine was sobbing in her room like it was raining stones from the sky. Her chest was tight, feeling everything was in vain. She was really disappointed with his life’s destiny. She just wanted to pursue the goals she had set up long ago. However, it seemed that all of that would really be a dream.
“Nadine hiks..., don’t want to get married, hiks....”
Various negative thoughts filled Nadine’s little head; she wanted to go to college and find a soul mate on her own. It’s anciently fashioned if today people still believe that domestic happiness comes from arranged marriages—this is really a nightmare.
“Nadine, open the door for a moment,” her mother said softly as she knocked lightly on the mahogany door.
In the living room, The Father froze. Nadine just buried herself in the pillow, disapproving of her parents’ request. Charlie Marchelino Kenward, a young businessman, visited his house without telling him anything, making him so awkward, and Nadine sob since yesterday. This really made his heart confused.
“I never mess up what I say, Dad.”
Charlie’s face was severe but still haughty in pleading.
“Since yesterday Nadine has been crying,” said Mrs. Zee, bowing in fear.
Charlie caught off guard, stood up from his seat, and shrugged his future mother-in-law’s shoulders, “It’s not your fault, Mom. Where is Nadine’s room?”
Mrs. Zee also took Charlie to the place where her daughter vented her grievances. Charlie knocked on the door. Of course, Nadine heard it, but she didn’t notice the figure behind the door.
“Nadine, don’t want to get married, Mom!!! Please don’t force me!!!”
The door was knocked repeatedly, making Nadine uncomfortable and chills because it was late at night, and the situation was quiet.
“Mom?!”
The door kept knocking.
“Dad, go!”
Nadine was very frightened and got up from her bed.
“Dad, please bed—” Nadine was amazed by the arrival of an angel in front of her, “Un-Uncle?”
“Are you crying because I asked you to marry me?” asked Charlie then.
Nadine just gaped. If she knew from the start the person who was going to marry her was the handsome uncle she met in the toilet, how could Nadine spend a lot of energy crying like that?
“Did you refused it?”
Nadine is weak to the handsomeness of this one god creature, “Haha I must be hallucinating.”
“Well, if you refuse, I will go and find another bride.”
Nadine was shocked and slapped her own cheek, then winced in pain.
It’s not a dream.
“No no, uncle! I want to! I want! Come on, when are we getting married?!”
Charlie looked at the innocent girl in front of him with a mocking face, “Didn’t you already reject me?”
“H-huh, said who?”
Nadine stutters. This man in front of her should not be wasted; she will show everyone that she is finally selling and the person who married her is too perfect.
“So, Charlie Marchelino Kenward, is uncle?”
Charlie didn’t answer and turned around, moving on to leave Nadine.
But the pair of tiny arms wrapped tightly around his stomach, “I want to marry you, let’s get married and pay off my college fees!”
No one noticed Charlie’s smile on the corners of his lips.

Charlie is a young entrepreneur with infinite wealth. His handsome face makes any circle of people adore him, and with everything he has, he can make people submit.
But Charlie isn’t as arrogant as he seems. He is a simple person and wants to be invited to live a difficult life. Lack of money does not make him ashamed. He is also a devout person and always helps people in need.
Charlie is rich and famous. Every year he donates scholarships to outstanding students in various schools. His name was emblazoned in Forbes magazine and included in the ranks of the wealthiest people. He established a good working relationship so that a symbiotic relationship was established.
He even volunteered to teach at a specific university. Who wouldn’t be attracted to a man like this?
Nadine was genuinely grateful that she would be side by side with Charlie at the altar. Just imagining it made her chuckle in shame. She thought about how Charlie’s fans would react when they saw her side by side and tied the knot with him.
But her expectations were too high. In fact, Charlie did not invite the services of the Mass media for his wedding.
But it’s okay Nadine still grateful.
Nadine’s face heated up when the priest asked the bride and groom in front of him to kiss.
Nadine took one step back, and she was really nervous. Unexpectedly Charlie leaned over.
Nadine was embarrassed.
“Charlie,” she spoke softly and nervously.
After that, Charlie kissed Nadine’s forehead gently. Applause from some of the attendees.
Nadine promised to be a good wife.

Nadine’s cheeks flushed red, imagining a beautiful hot night in mid-autumn.
“Are we going to do ‘that’?” Nadine asked after Charlie came out of the bathroom and dried his hair with a small towel.
The sight of Charlie wearing a singlet is very beautiful.
Nadine didn’t even blink at the face of the man with an age difference far from her.
However, no response. Charlie just put the towel that had been used to dry his hair on the kapstok with perfection.
Nadine didn’t stop thinking dirty when Charlie approached their bed, struggling hotly with the hotel room witnessing it.
But again, those expectations were dashed.
Nadine is disappointed.
“Charlie!”
“Go to sleep, don’t bother me.”

No hot nights, no sweetness, no preferential treatment, but Nadine loves it. Living with Charlie is more than enough for Nadine; as an adult, she is pretty patient with her relationship with Charlie. Charlie provides for her parents’ needs, gives her lots of money, good food, good clothes, and will pay for her college soon.
“Charlie, you are very tsundere,” said Nadine mocking the husband who was calmly eating his breakfast.
Even though Charlie never responded, with high confidence, Nadine is sure that her husband loves her.
Tsundere Charlie’s attitude made Nadine uncomfortable, so the girl no longer called him uncle or a nickname with polite nature.
“Charlie, tomorrow I have started college, I’m very happy!”
Nadine hugged Charlie’s neck then, slightly choking, “Hey, let go.”
“I just want to hug you because I’m happy, this is what I’ve been waiting for, being a cool student!”
“Don’t complain if you have a lot of work to do later.”
Nadine pursed her lips, got up from the pantry chair sulkily, “Gosh I’m too lazy to make assignments for orientation, tomorrow I don’t want to go to college.”
After his wife’s back was away from the kitchen door, Charlie snarled, holding back something that was about to explode inside him, “What’s she wearing?”
....
Tomorrow has come, she has been working late all night, and in the morning, she looks so enthusiastic, “Charlie take me!”
“Take the bus yourself.”
“Charlie, it’s already 7 o’clock.”
“I am busy.”
“Charlie!”
Charlie just handed Nadine a bus card with a balance that was more than enough, but the little one still sulked with all the wrong moves.
“That sucks, then what use are your hundreds of cars and motorbikes for if not to take me to college!”
Nadine’s eyes filled with tears, emitting a tired look and wanting to cry.
Suddenly the orientation items she was carrying in her hands went up in the air; Charlie took her.
“Hurry up if you want me to drop you off.”
Drastically, Nadine’s smile was etched sweetly on her lips, following her husband’s steps with a happy feeling.
“Oh, it’s a perfect day.”
