Chapter 11 - Special

(Earlier that night.)

It’s unusual for Arhianhod to come to me for help, especially for a singular wolf pup. Granted we are close friends, practically sisters and we have been through so much together and there have only ever been two previous occasions where the moon goddess herself asked me to help and I vice versa, including this one.

 “I wonder what may be so special about this one,” I say more to myself with a little added giggle. 

“I know you're here, Cariad” I can't help but say, before turning and hugging my dear friend.

“Busted, he he, now you know the score, I can't stay too long, she will be here shortly, but I must say, I do miss you annawyl. This one is very special; I will explain all soon but for now I must get going before she arrives”. She tells me before she disappeared.

I nod to her as she begins to disappear, now I am even more intrigued by what the next few months will bring. The whole mystery surrounding this young child is going to be one hell of a whirlwind.

Oh, dear, look at what they have done to her, other than the amount of damage she has taken from the beating, but she looks deathly thin, she certainly won't withstand the change in her state.

After calling for Alex to join me, I give her the normal warnings before teleporting us back home. At home we had a small chat about certain things that going to happen.

She tells me, the staircase is moving and following her, now the staircase is a very old, enchanted, which houses small portions of every god and goddesses’ blood and only the high, grand, royal, God or goddess can see any of the magical elements that have been blessed with in the walls of this house.

The only explanation is, Alex is a strong blooded royal.

“So, I wonder who this young Lady is, “  I said to myself as I began to walk into my bedroom to rest for the night. As I began to change into my pyjamas the hairs all over my body began to rise and tingle, now this only means one thing. 

“Welcome home dear,” I say with a grand smile of my own, facing my now shimmering husband and cymhares. 

“Hello darling, hope your day was less uneventful than mine,” My cymhares tells me while planting a small kiss on top of my forehead before going to change into his pyjamas also. 

“About that, we have a guest here, I was asked to help her directly from Arianrhod herself,” I told him with a little chuckle of my own. 

“It’s unlike her to ask you directly to help one of her own in this matter, well actually, come to think about it in any matter other than that one other time.” He states coming out of the bathroom that is adjoined to our bedroom. 

I watch as he strides closer to the bed and dives straight for the covers where I am currently laying under, I can't help but start to cuddle into him more while he fully embraces me with his arms tightly secured around me as we start to drift off into peaceful sleep. 

“We can discuss it in the morning at breakfast, for now, let's just sleep”. He says before sleep consumes both of us. 

The following morning Phoenix and I get ready for the day ahead, we can sense it's going to be an interesting day. As we made our way down to the kitchen, we began working on breakfast for ourselves and our guests. I fill in the rest for phoenix.
