“No, not really, I was visited by a couple when I was around eight years old, I remember their faces and know they were my grandparents, on my mother's side but not much else, the day they arrived, they took off shortly after, what I can remember of the conversation they had, they had been infiltrated and enemies were amongst us all, and for my parents to be careful and not to trust anyone”. I explained straining to retain the information I had kept all this time.
“So to start you are of a royal descendant, your grandparents were the king and queen of all werewolves in Wales, your grandfather being a lost Celtic Prince and your mother a Celtic Welsh Princess, together they ruled with pride as the werewolf kingdom flourished under their leadership, but inevitably there were others who were threatened, by the amount of power they could hold if they were ever to produce an hair strong enough, and thus began a rebellion against them, but that is unfortunately, a story you will have to work out for yourself, but what I can tell you is that the same enemy then is your main enemy now, along with that ex-mate of yours, unfortunately, you will be seeing more of him”.
“Now enough of that, food is ready, and once you have eaten, I will show you to your room so you can rest up, you will need it for tomorrow for when your wolf comes,” Efa said while pulling me up from the couch to lead me to where the food is.
I didn’t realise how hungry I had become until my belly made such a rumble, I thought it would rumble away. I inwardly chuckle to myself at my awful attempt at a joke.
“Waw your home is absolutely outstanding Efa”. I can't help but say while gazing at the wide-open area of the hallway, with multiple doors on either side, a grand chandelier that appears to just float in mid-air with an array of candles, as I began to look forward, down from the chandelier, there stands proud in front of me a grand staircase, that opens up at the top that leads both to the left and right, but at the foot of the stairs their stands a magical carving of all creatures great and small including, dragons, mermaid’s, and even serpent’s, I don't know if it’s the magic but I could swear the dragon has moved and is following me with his gaze.
“Hmm that’s weird” I accidentally said out loud.
“What’s weird dear?”
“Hmm I don't know, but I could swear that that dragon moved so he could follow where I was going”. I sheepishly admitted, and narrowly missed Efa as she abruptly stopped right in front of me.
Efa is now facing me looking directly into my eyes. “Hmm interesting, You saw them all?” She asked with such a shock on her face.
“Yes, and your beautiful candle/chandelier display,” I said.
“Well, that's new, my dear you are one special wolf, now all that will come in time I promise but first food,” Efa told me while pushing open the door on the left-hand side of the staircase.
The room is not too big but not too small, it's just a simple kitchen with a middle island with a breakfast bar, another bay window just not as grand, right in front of the sink which allows enormous amounts of natural light to peer through. On the other end of the kitchen lays a large standing two-door fridge/freezer with an ice dispenser, overall, the kitchen is quite chick-looking with all the normal mod cons.
As my eyes come back around and, on the table, lays a plate of food for me with a nice cup of tea to match.
“Thank you for everything you're helping me with Efa” I say while I settle down at the bar ready to eat my food.
“OHH, dear the pleasure is all mine” she states while tucking into her own meal next to me.
As we come to finishing up our meal, Efa turns towards me, with a look I can’t grasp yet.
“Alex, I’m curious, you didn’t seem shocked when I mentioned who I was, most people from all species don’t believe me, let alone know who I am, this includes my own species (Witches) to them I am a myth a legend.”
