Chapter 6 - The escape

Alex’s P.OV.>

It’s coming up to lunchtime, the last meal I'll have to cook today, because caterers have been roped in for the celebration/party tonight, which starts at 4 pm. I glance at the wall clock which is in three hours. 

Yes, I can't wait to get this day over with, and escape away from here for good, I’m so happy that I have barely realised one thing that has been missing. My main tormentors or bullies as you would say, that, in itself is strange because they quite enjoy tormenting me, or bully me into doing something, but nope not today and that doesn't sit well with me one bit.

This only means one thing. “TROUBLE”. I say under my breath.  

I make it through the rest of the evening unscathed and unseen, because by this pack's law everyone must attend a function no matter what it is, even the slaves, not that there are other’s because there isn’t, I am the one and only.

Time Jump to 21:00pm >

It’s currently coming up to 21:30 now, almost time for the Alpha to shift, this is where I will be making my exit while everyone is going to be distracted, so I keep my distance from everyone, slowly but steadily make my way to my belongings. 

I don't want him chasing me in his wolf form, I'll simply never make it, I grab my bag that I hid behind the furthest tree, away from the gathering earlier that day, I start making my way to the edge of the clearing, when I suddenly hear someone shout.

“HAY YOU, IT”

Damion’s POV>

I can't believe it's 21:30, only half an hour before I get to meet my wolf and become whole, I hear it's very exhilarating. I am smiling and greeting my pack, while some bow with an alpha and smile. Personally I can't wait for the next course of action. 

But I get a small whiff of Its scent, and instantly I look up and see IT sneaking away towards the clearing, with a rucksack on and I wonder what it's doing. 

I call out my gang which consists of all the upper league, myself, my Beta Alan, my Gamma Daniel, my Delta William, Sophie my chosen Cymhares, the girl's Kylie, Hannah, and Victoria. I point to where IT is slowly disappearing, I excuse myself from my pack, and we begin walking towards the clearing, with the intention of putting plan A into action. 

I have a Plan B if all else fails, but the guys don't know that yet, as we get into the clearing, “Hay Alex” my Gamma calls out to IT just before it passes the clearing, as IT turns around slowly, I can't help but smirk as I see IT pales at the sight of all of us catching her.

“What are you doing out here Alex, and not enjoying the party like you are meant to, with the rest of the pack? “,  Aled my beta asked.

I physically see her gulp. I can tell my wolf is coming closer as I am starting to see clearer now. 

 “My Beta has asked you a question Alex, what are you doing out here?” 

Alex looks me dead in the eye, I know she knows we are Cymhares now, she frowns slightly and sighs in defeat.  

“I just wanted some fresh air and to bathe in the lake nearby”, Alex answers. 

We start walking closer to IT, but IT starts to slowly walk back towards the north side of the pack lands, IT is quickly cut off by us all surrounding her. 

“What can I do for you Alpha,”,  IT asks with a slight bow.

I breathe in slowly, taking in as much of IT scent as possible, before I start to explain to IT what's going to happen, the plan that's going to commence from tonight onwards. The solar light flickers on next to us just as I finish my little speech. 

The light from the setting sun shines brightly behind IT, as if IT’s some sort of angel, I TUT at the thought, but it does highlight IT’s face perfectly, to see the shock, anger, and worry on ITs pretty face, before darkness engulfs us all indicating the sun has just set and the moon is rising. 

“Yo...You can’t do that” IT lightly says, "I will never allow you to do that to me”. IT says even louder now, and I can't help but chuckle.
