“Then I will go and talk to her,” the Duke said, “I have various messages to give her from the guests who have already left and Enid has suggested that she should go and stay with her if Kitty does not want her.” As he spoke, he glanced at Sir Hugo and saw his lips tighten in a hard line. “Have you and Kitty made any decision about Lorena’s future?” he asked. “In this instance it will be a question of what I want,” Sir Hugo replied.
