My last ball

I sat aside the fireplace than opened the first letter one that Mia has already opened half . My eyes caught the first word Luke and my lips curled with bitterness . I was invited to the engagement of Luke and princess. I compose myself than opened the second letter. That was from the princess.

My friend Lana or should I say my blood bag . You shameless b***h you should be happy to used by me . But now you must get out from our lives because I am cured from my illness and you have no use for me . As for Luke he is already known as a sprit sword master thought out all the clan so no one will doubt him and i will take good care of him . A carriage will be sent for you at dawn , don't even think about skipping today's ball you must come to bless us you damn bastard.

Haaaa...... A heavy sigh left my heart. I can already tell how will be the night . Despite the agony in my heart I got ready for the ball . A simple white dress with a cheap pearl hair pin I made a hair bun . No jewellery no makeup. By the roadside a cheap flower bouquet caught my eyes i bought that . But I was confused wheather to give it or throw it . Luke's betrayal, princess taunts and pack leader 's kind words keep ringing inside my brain , i didn't even notice the onlookers lustful stares and I was at the doorstep of the ballroom.

As the doorman was to announce my presence i stopped him and slowly entered the banquet hall . As i descend the stair the previous laughter and noises completly fading away . As to know about the cause I lift my face and look at the crowded hall . Everyone is dazed . All the eyes are on me . As i felt everyone's eyes on me my heart beats rapidly as someone who always have a low presence i felt fearful . Suddenly a clock flew towards me . I was startled. Slowly I lift my face and there was a familiar yet unknown person standing infront of me .
