Chapter 2: Miss Gracy

Grey's Pov

"You know exactly how to pull up a show" Ace snorted. "Oh! Are you offended? Miss. Gracy! " I fired back.

"Showing off your skills wasn't necessary. And don't call me that Grey!" Ace fired back. "I use my skills only when needed and just because you refused to learn self defense and walk on path of non-violence doesn't means that everyone has to follow you. This world is too cruel sissy!World is full of such monsters who needs to be shown their place. Dear Gracy!" I replied back.

"Not every evil needs violence to destroy. Not everyone is born evil, it's just the situation which makes them do evil things. Use your words to change people not your fist Grey", Ace explained. How in the hell is she such native! Even though I'm the younger one I know that this thinking of hers will only put up her in more problems. She's too native for this world. I can't have this argument with her knowing that she's hell bend for peace whispers. Changing the topic I ask her " Hold on, Are you scared that my moves will attract your man?"

The look on her face is enough to make anyone roll on their stomach out of laughter. "Are you for real? Amar is out of your league little sissy!" She fires back. Yeah for sure sis! I'm not into him which is why you are lucky. "Yeah sure!" I snorted back sarcastically. Sure Amar is a fine man but he's not my type. I don't date romantic idiots, Gracy's story is all romantic fairytale any teenager would die for.

"You guys need to stop your bickering before I kick your asses out of this place!" Eva Di shouted on us. To be true, Di is no better than Gracy. Although she did took defense classes with me, she's not gonna use them anytime sooner. They both think I'm a b***h but for situations as such you need to show what you've got otherwise you can't survive this world.

"Pretty please! I'm sorry Di, but it's all Gracy's fault! She started it" I spoke up with my puppy dog eyes. Melting at my act Di pulled me off the hook and smiled. "You girls need to grow up! I won't be around you people to sort out your arguments" she said.

Honestly the thought of not having Eva Di around still doesn't settle down within us, but we can't keep her for ourselves. She has other responsibilities to take care of which can't be overlooked. Although it's been almost 2 years with her, it feels like 2 months.

"Don't say things like that! It's not going to be forever without you. Eventually you're going to come back"

Gracy softly exclaimed. "Yes Di! And until that I'll have Amar to hangout with, isn't it Gracy?" I teased Gracy.

"You!" she ran after me. Running around the Hall I laughed at Gracy's

incapable efforts of catching me. Surely she thinks she can catch me with her slow running pace. Watching behind my back I laughed at Grace's slow running skills and suddenly I bumped into the wall.

Looking at my obstacle I realized it was a person that I bumped into. "Take the name of the devil and the devil's here!" I exclaimed referring to the person standing like a building in front of me. "Look where you're going!" he exclaimed back. "It's not my fault! I just zoned out" I answered back. "Still dreaming about me Estella?" he asked back smirking at me. I narrowed my eyes on him "You wish romeo boy!".

Laughing at my comment he forwarded his hand to lift me up. But being a egoistic brat, I refused his help and helped myself standing up. "Hey baby!" came Gracy's sweet voice attracting attention of the person before me lifting his facial expressions. Smiling at the love of his life this romantic fool approached Gracy embracing her in a warm hug. Their union was perfectly romantic making me feel as a left out person, Huh! They started with their romantic s**t once again.

Forgetting my presence they went into their whole romantic zone. Ohh God! I'm gonna puke anytime now. Making my way towards the office I excused myself. Uhhh! Why do they have to be so clingy? I hate romantic idiots.

Approaching the office I heard whispering among four people one of them being my Mom.

"Miss. Martin I understand your situation but it's not in my hand. Those people are very powerful and they won't give up until you hand over this place!" A bald man in his late fourty's whispered nervously.

"Miss I request you! Don't mess with them, they're really dangerous people they can even harm you" Another man who looked quiet younger than the bald man requested.

The atmosphere in the room was highly tensed. The third person who looked similar to the bald one spoke, "Miss you're a woman you should not take such risk!" Haha asshole that was a sexist comment and try all you can but my mom will never agree with your nonsense. She won't give up this place at any cost.

But what the hell is happening? How can someone just ask us to handover this place? This was not only a boutique shop but our dream. Mom had worked so hard to collect the amount to buy this place. We even did part-time jobs to collect this amount. How can some fucker just claim our property as their?

"I understand your concerns gentlemen but how can I just give up this place? Me and my daughters have worked very hard to collect the amount to buy this place and now after getting so close to our dream you're saying that I should handover them my place! " Mom explained them. "And Mr. Jacob that was a very sexist comment of you. I kindly advise you to use your brain before speaking any bullshit" she said in a polite yet powerful tone.

"Please try to understand Lia they are dangerous for you and your children" Uncle Maze spoked. I can't believe that uncle maze will suggest us to give up. He's the person with no tolerance for bullshit, he always encouraged us to fight back but hearing such weak words from him is unbelievable. Before Mom could argue back, Uncle Maze whispered something in her ears. Their conversation was not audible for my hearing but Mom's facial expressions told that it was something serious.

After their conversation mom spoke those words which I never believed she would say, "We're ready to give up this place!"
