A few days went by with Violet's nights being busy with different training sessions with the three warrior brothers. She had a training session with Dex tonight. He had just shared some difficult fighting stances and techniques with her, and now she was to repeat it.
"That was amazing, Violet ! I've never had anyone learn footwork so fast. You're a born warrior. Good job." Dex patted her back with a wide grin.
"Thank you. I don't think I would have been able to do it without your help. You're a splendid teacher." Violet gushed.
She accepted the bottle of water Dex gave her as they settled down on the ground. The sky was cloudless indigo and the moon crescent. Night insects chirped eerily but Violet was least bit bothered, although they were in the depth of the woods, training.
