Lucas arrived at the hospital just in time to help Nathan with the last-minute arrangements for Sebastian’s discharge. The hospital room, once filled with the constant beeping of monitors and the sterile scent of antiseptics, now felt like a distant memory. Sebastian was finally leaving.
Lucas grabbed the duffel bag while Nathan carefully helped Sebastian into the wheelchair. "You sure you're ready for this?" Nathan asked, concern flickering in his eyes.
Sebastian rolled his eyes. "I've been ready since the moment I woke up. If I have to stay here one more day, I might go insane."
Nathan sighed, shaking his head. "Stubborn as ever."
"Wouldn't be me if I wasn't," Sebastian said with a smirk.
