Chapter 3 ( Introduction to Belle)

Alaric goes to his biology class and when the class ends his teacher sends him a document that he has to share with other learners of his grade and one of his classmates, Belle, approach him to get the document.

Surprised by the beauty of this girl Alaric ends up stuttering infront of Belle and all her friends and Alaric thinks to himself that this is one of the worst ways to leave an impression on a girl. Alaric believes that first impressions should always be great but again what happened happened and maybe it happened for a great reason.

Alaric would go for months without talking to Belle again but whenever he's around the school he keeps on looking at Belle whenever he sees her and little did he know Belle and her friends thought of him as a weirdo because he always stared people to death. He would stare at someone for a very long time and some were even afraid to talk to him because of his intimidating eyes.

One day as Alaric goes to his classes like normal he meets Belle who ask him about his favourite music genres and artists and this time Alaric had gone through what one would call a development because he spoke clearly with Belle. He did not stutter or whatsoever. He was calm and relaxed and engaged in a beautiful conversation with Belle.

Again, Alaric thought that Belle was probably the most beautiful girl he had ever saw in the school and it could even be heard in the name itself. (Belle is a French name meaning beautiful)

Alaric would spend a week asking questions about Belle to his friends and to his surprise Belle was one of his friends' primary school friend and they thought he was just admiring her so they told him everything they knew about her, from her personality to her past relationships and being the nonchalant Alaric, he just took the information he just received and did nothing with it. He thought no girl was ever worth his time to he moved on with his life and never looked at Belle again, well atleast for some time.

Days, weeks, months passed and when the year was about to end, Alaric decided to use his biggest weapon, which was the cellphone numbers he got from Belle all those months back and decided to actually text Belle. To his surprise Belle answered and so much for a first text, it was actually great, it was as if they knew each other from a long time back. That day ended greatly and the next day they met at school, smiled at each other and greeted each other. Both their separate group of friends were quick to see that something changed between them. "Why are they suddenly greeting each other"?That's the one common thought they all had and obviously they asked them but they both answered with "It's nothing, we're just talking and probably on the verge of forming a great friendship ". They would talk for a few days and they formed a great relationship and happiness was surely on Alaric's side as he never experienced such happiness before, little did he know that the universe had a very perfect lesson for him.
