Chapter 74
Kane’s pov
Josie called me and invited me to her house tonight for a BBQ. I told her I would try to make it tonight, but I was pretty swamped. I wondered if Rayne would be there. I would love to see her tonight.
I wanted to check on her and see how she’s doing but I haven’t had a minute to myself. I was done seeing patients for now and had some time to wait before my next one.
My nurse came in and told me that my last three patients had to reschedule. So, I had free time tonight after all. I text Josie telling her I would be there and asked if I needed to bring anything.
She said to bring flowers for a certain person that was having a bad day. I wondered what was going. I didn’t like hearing that she wasn’t having a good day. I finished up here then went home to change.
