I called Brie because I just needed to hear her voice. She sounded so sad. I just wanted to hold her right now. She thought I was only being nice because I was her boss. I needed her to know it was more than that.
“I didn’t do it because I’m your boss. You deserve so much better. I just wish well things could be different.”
