Chapter 107
Alexa’s pov
I was finally home, and it felt good. I can’t believe I left. I was such a fool. Tomorrow I started my new job so today I was unpacking what I would need. Thankfully the movers got all my furniture set up already for me.
Tonight, I was having dinner with my new boss so he could go over what he expected. My boss’ name was Kit and he seemed pretty laid back. I couldn’t wait to get back to work. I wanted my life back.
I wondered if I would run into Jacob. I know that both his law firm and the one I am starting at has worked together before. I don’t even know how I would react to seeing him. He is clearly done with me.
I don’t blame him I messed everything up between us. I hurt him. If I could take it all back I would. I never would have left. I looked at the time
