Kayne’s pov
Josie called me and told me Rayne was home. She told me she thought we were playing a joke on her. I don’t get why she would think that. I mean she was beautiful and so sweet.
The way she was with animals only a person with a good heart was like that. I needed to find a way to show her I was serious. I wanted a date with her. I was going to take on the challenge.
I was going to build this crazy beautiful woman up. I wish I knew the man that shattered her self-esteem. I’d love to knock him on his ass. It just made my job a little harder, but I was up to the task.
