Ch2

A few months passed by,as Eileen laid around and read a ton of books. Her back healed during this time and even the King, her father was in good shape again. The whole kingdom was in peace and everything began to come to normal.

Being surrounded by different kingdoms everywhere,Monte Empire was always engaged in war. They had tried to negotiate with the other kingdoms but only Reagon Empire was sane and hence the two kingdoms formed an alliance.

The wild ones never formed an alliance with any other kindom and so the two allied nations (Reagon and Monte)stood the strongest. Now they could relax a few more years before another war broke out.

Princess!! It's time to get up. Today is your first sword lessons.

It's already here? I couldn't wait for this and now it's finally here! Eileen said getting up and rushing to the wash room. She quickly bathed and dried herself. The maids helped her put on her clothes. She wore White pants with a black shirt, black boots and the royal red coat over her shoulders.

Eileen went out and met her teacher Sir Kain. He was a knight of the Monte Empire with red hair and dull brown eyes. He had wide shoulders and a deep voice. Eileen knew deep down that she was in good hands and gave a big smile. Seeing her smile, everyone looked at one another and also smiled.

The training began immediately and Eileen quickly grasped everything that was taught.

After she had learned the basic foot position, attack and defense, she was also taught the Monte secret sword technique by Leo personally. Emily never dared to watch her train because she hated the idea of a lady with a sword.

One night, her father called her to his room.

"Have a seat",father said indicating at the chair in front of him. After Eileen sat comfortably, she said," What happened father? you called for me?"

Lin-lin we have to stop your classes.

'What? But, no.... I want to learn more!!!", Eileen said getting up.

Look Lin-lin, circumstances have changed, we need to let you get trained in your etiquette as well... you cannot manage both at the same time and it won't be long before you leave for Reagon Empire.

"Reagon Empire? Why should I go there?", Eileen said storming out. She burst out of the room and was walking towards her room in deep thought.

"Just because I changed a little bit of the past,it doesn't seem to change the entire future...But the reason why I got to send to Reagon Empire in the past was to protect me... then why... Oh!! The Oracle" Eileen exclaimed as she ran back to her father's room.

Father!! it's about the Oracle isn't it?

Father stood in shock,"How did you know? Only I have read that letter and I haven't told a soul about it yet.."

Eileen nervously looked around and quickly thought up of a lie and said," When you were reading the letter, I was on your shoulders haha"

I must be getting old Lin-lin. Anyways the Reagon Empire wants you to come and live with them to get used to the life of a Reagon. The Oracle has fated you and the crown prince as the power couple of wisdom.

Father... please let me sleep over it tonight and I'll tell you what I think tommorow.

Saying this, Eileen went to her room.

Lily came and helped her get dressed in her night gown and left her in her room. Eileen laid on her bed and thought deeply...

I didn't have the intention of going to Reagon Empire again in this life but since it has happened like this, I have no choice but to go. It would be better if I were to go there when I'm older because the king and his men will take my opinions into more consideration but I aslo have to win Leslie over to my side. What's easier than to bring a child to you side rit?Okay then, that's what I'll tell....

As she thought about everything,she dozed off quickly and was soon in deep sleep.

The next morning, Eileen rushed to her father's room as soon as the first light peeped in through her curtains.

Joey (her father) was in his study, taking care of some paperwork. On seeing her, he got up and went to her. he lifted her up and has her sit on his shoulders.

Joey loved Eileen very dearly. Though he saw Sarah only as a friend and a tutor of his children,he was glad that she was Eileen's mom.

Eileen had inherited her mom's light pink hair which was almost white and she had his forrest green eyes.

He had decided to take care of Eileen even if his children rejected her but to his luck and Eileen's luck, his children adored Sarah and they were so happy to have Sarah's child as their sister.

Eileen sat comfortably on her dad's arm and looked at him while he was in deep thought. After a while, she broke the silence and said," Papa, can I ask something?"

Oh yes dear,go ahead.

I am willing to move to Reagon Empire.

Oh! Why the sudden change of mind? Did the crown prince come in your dreams?

No...papa I just want it build strong relationships in another Empire and help out Monte Empire if it were ever defeated.

"We will never be defeated Eileen...", Joey said with a smug look on his face.

Yes Papa, we will never be defeated, Eileen said even after knowing what the future had in store for them . Monte Empire was badly defeated leaving behind no trace of a single bloodline of the existence of the Monte Empire except for Leo who was brought in as a servant for the emperor of Aralith . Luckily Leo was good at everything winning the favour of the emperor and was hence given a noble status after which he came looking for Eileen.

Lin-lin!! Lin-lin!

Oh! Yes! Sorry I was thinking about something else.

I know you want to leave for Reagon as soon as possible but we cannot do that untill you get your etiquette training. So you might have to spend a few more months here to finish your training.

But Eileen was confident, because she already knew all the basic forms of etiquette.
