After learning about the summons, I called it an early night. Celeste and I had been training hard for the past several weeks and we were both exhausted and testy. The moment we were back at the cabin, I forced her to drink a glass of blood before sending her off to bed.
I should have also went to bed, to get some much needed sleep. Instead, I found myself out on the back porch trying to figure out what happened with Celeste earlier that day. This girl was far more frustrating than Constance had ever been! Though, that was in part due to my bond with Constance. I’d been able to read her easier because of it.
