Chapter 33 Snow flurries dissolved on the cobblestones of Albemarle Street as Tessie's eyes fixed on Number 22. An hour passed before a carriage pulled to the front of the grand terrace home and the navy blue door opened. Kyran stepped into the cold, securing a top-hat on his neatly groomed hair. His breath fogged as he strolled quickly to the carriage. Striding across the street Tessie pulled herself up and slipped inside the cab. Kyran’s eyes widened as he realised who it was.
