21. Found Out

Harrison was still in his room within Salvatore quarters having been there now for a week completely refusing to attend his classes, Demetrius had brought all of his homework to him and had a study session with him and Ben, Otiz on the other hand thought it would be a good idea to annoy Salvatore in his lab.

Crash! Bang! Kaboom!!

"Otiz get back here!" yelled Salvatore to the hybrid animal but he was upstairs in a few bounds and was by Harrison's side within seconds of landing, he was mewing in delight only to stop when the three boys looked at him.

"Otiz what in Merlin's name have you done to my father now" asked Harrison only to have Salvatore reply with "destroyed the Skele-gro I was making for Pheobe, the little imp thought it would be funny to change the Chinese Chomping Cabbage for normal cabbage" and he glared at him.

The boys almost laughed at this but stopped when they were glared at.

"Dad he didn't mean to, I think he's just bored as I'm doing my homework and he just wants to play, plus if I remember correctly a Kitsune is a Japanese fox demon that loves to play jokes" said Harrison to him as he sat down.

Otiz laughed slightly making all four look at him but before they could say anything the chime to the floo rang out, Salvatore went to answer it right away and found that is was Melissa.

He looked towards Harrison asking if it was ok when he was told who it was, Harrison to be honest loved the women she was nice but strict, just like Salvatore really mind you.

Salvatore went back to the floo and allowed Melissa through, she was shocked to see that Demetrius as well as Ben sitting quite happily with Harrison studying, homework spread out on the coffee table.

Otiz hissed at her but did nothing else, Harrison was very calm and so he was calm but not a 100% he didn't know her, so he was unsure.

"Misters Magnus and Zinke good evening to you as well as Mister Payne or should I now say Sacchi?"

"Sacchi, professor" said Harrison to her quietly.

She nodded and sat down in the only other seat available, the other one was already occupied by Salvatore and his fire whiskey he was nursing.

"Every well I would like to know what has happened to you young Mister Sacchi and why in Merlin's name you have got resorted in the first place, Professor Dunn said that you left your relatives for unknown reasons but is that true?" she asked him making Otiz's hackles climb he DID NOT like where this was going.

"Melissa please!" Salvatore almost, and I mean almost jumped to his feet in complete shock.

"Salvatore I need to know as his former Head of House I would like to know why one of my favourite lions has turned into a snake and your son at that" she retaliated to her ex student and work colleague.

"It is not my story to tell it is Hadrian's if he should choose to divulge to, I am his father and as you stated when he got resorted at the beginning of the year" sighed Salvatore calling another house elf for another fire whiskey as he knew it was going to be a long night as well as a long weekend.

"Dad please!!" said Harrison to him and once the fire whiskey was brought to him he let it sit on the table.

"Ok professor I'll tell you everything that has happened to me but before I do could you calm down slightly your making Otiz upset and I don't want him to hurt you" said Harrison stroking his fur to calm him down.

She sighed and took a calming breath and sighed a little, a house elf brought in some tea for Salvatore and Melissa while they brought pumpkin juice for the boys and a bowl of blood for Otiz.

Everyone got as comfortable as possible as Harrison told his story

"My uncle would make me sleep in the cupboard under the stairs since I started to live with them, I didn't even know my name is Harrison until I was at least six, when I was finally let to go to school that is, I always thought that is was Freak.

I didn't have any friends at school that is if I was allowed to go but once the police officers came stating that I was meant to go at the beginning of the year, which by that time was now after Christmas they started sending me.

I would have to be up at the c***k of dawn to start on my chores even before I went to school, I would have to cook their meals and while they ate I was thrust back into the cupboard under the stairs until they are done.

My chores would be to clean the whole house, do the washing, washing up, hoover, mop, dust, garden, sort out the loft as well as the garage, cook their food, wash the car and paint the fence and that was just my typical week really.

If I was lucky enough to get something to eat it would most likely be a mouldy piece of bread, a couple of crackers if I was really lucky and a glass of water, that was it.

The teachers didn't care that I was behind in my school work to be honest I think they are scared of my cousin and his parents to care for my welfare but they did try to give me some extra food at lunch when my cousin wasn't looking as well as his g**g.

My uncle would beat me so many times with so many different items his favourite would be the belt or even the bat, I would come out b****y and bruised but I thought that was how a family acted I knew no different it only got worse when my letter came...."

At this he stopped as tears were beginning to fall, Otiz right away started to lick his face to calm him down, taking another breath he started up again.

"My letter was addressed to Mr Harrison J Payne, four Privet Drive, cupboard under the stairs, at first I thought it was a joke until we suddenly up and left and that was when I met Hans and he told me that I was a wizard, I knew nothing about it.

I have to admit that turning my teachers hair blue and appearing on top of the school roof once or twice, I knew I was weird but I never knew that I was a wizard.

My aunt finally told me that my parents were killed after Hans told me that what they had told me in the first place, that my parents were drunks and killed themselves and that they were lumped with me because of it.

I just wanted to get out of there but when I got back at the end of the school year everything got a whole at lot worse, the punishments increased and what ever I did it was wrong in their books.

When dad.... when dad found me during the summer holidays... was when I was almost killed by my uncle, he didn't want me to be there anymore and so took it upon himself to beat me within an inch of my life.

From what I could work out and from what Madam Phillips and dad told me... I was....." He couldn't say anymore he was now in complete tears, Salvatore just sighed and got up and picked him up.

As he sat back down he finished what Harrison was saying.

"I found Hadrian beaten and b****y, he had many broken bones and lacerations, scars and bruises all in different stages of healing many were infected, it took us most of the summer to get him to what Phoebe would say was a reasonable state of health even though he still has to take a nutrition potion three times a day.

I took it upon myself to adopt him as I have been through what he has been through and I would never let him go back to those...monsters he calls relatives.

He is now under the name of Hadrian Jameson Salvatore Sacchi, he is my son while Mister Magnus here is his god brother as his parents are his godparents now..." he was cut off my Melissa saying "what about Browne or the Lankhorst's?"

"As you know the Lankhorst's are in St. Mungo's at this very moment and as for Browne... Well that is another completely different matter that we will get to at another time" said Salvatore slightly adjusting himself as he now held a sleeping Harrison in his arms.

"Melissa if I could be so kind to ask you escort these two young gentleman to the Slytherin dorms while I put my son to bed for the night and I ask that all of you be so kind as to never let slip what you have learnt tonight" said Salvatore getting up from the chair and leaving the room.

"Come along now you two it is past curfew now, and I would also like you two to listen to Professor Sacchi on this please don't tell anyone of what you have learnt" said Melissa as she led the two boys out of the private quarters and back to their house for the night.

Both boys by the time they have arrived at their dorms they had both silently vowed to protect the young boy who was now their friend and not the boy who lived, he was just a young abused boy that deserved friends and a family of his own.

Nothing more, nothing less.
