19. Howler

The new school term has just started back up and Harrison was quietly getting back into his school work with the help of Demetrius, Ben and for some reason Penny, he never did like her but since he had been adopted by Salvatore she had changed her mind on him.

Everyone was at dinner for the night after a week of getting back into the whole 'school is important and make sure you study' crap that was now the norm after two luxurious weeks of pure bliss, most of his dorm mates hadn't even completed their Christmas homework and were now rushing to finish it as it was all due in this week.

Harrison sat between Demetrius and Ben while Penny sat opposite them, the three of them speaking sure that nothing would happen to Harrison while he was eating, even Mark joined them at one point wondering if Harrison would take up Quidditch at some point in time but he declined the offer.... for the moment at least.

Otiz was trying to push Ben out of the way to get to Harrison as this had also become the norm but stopped when Hettie came flying in landing on the table in front of the three.

Harrison hadn't seen her properly since everything had happened and over the summer holidays and that was almost six months ago, she cooed at them and then jumped up onto Harrison's shoulder and nuzzled his face, he was elated to see her and right away took some of his meat and gave it to her and while she ate he made sure that Otiz had his dinner as well.

"Otiz I want to introduce you to a very close friend of mine, this is Hettie..." said Harrison pointing to the snowy owl on his shoulder who had just finished of her treat "...Hettie girl this is Otiz..." he then made sure that they were both looking at him, even though one had meat handing from his mouth, "...I want you both to get along with each other and no fighting, please" both nodded and then went to groom each other happily.

The three smiled at the two animals but stopped when Eriol came flying in and crash landed in Richard's dinner if all things who was quickly followed by Tyki who landed on Salvatore with a letter attached to his leg from one Madeline Williams.

Eriol got up and once Richard saw a bright red letter attached to Eriol he knew he was in trouble, everyone at the table looked on to see why a Howler of all things had been sent to the Williams, they were the one of the lightest families in Britain.

"I'm not going to open it!" said Jenny to her brother, Richard tried to give it to either Fritz, Garret or even Patrick but each and everyone one of them shoved it away saying that it was addressed to him and Jenny as well as Harriet of all things and that they should open it.

Right there and then it ripped itself open and for everyone to hear across the Great Hall, Madeline Williams voice rang out.

"RICHARD BARNEY WILLIAMS AND JENNY MADELINE WILLIAMS!!

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU!! THIS WAS NOT HOW YOUR FATHER AND I RAISED YOU!!

BULLYING POOR HADRIAN, YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT I CALLED HIM HADRIAN JAMESON SALVATORE SACCHI AND NOT HARRISON JAMES PAYNE, FOR JUST BEING ADOPTED BY PROFESSOR SACCHI.

HE HAS DONE NOTHING FOR YOU TO DO THIS TO HIM, ALL HE WANTS IS A FAMILY AND AFTER WHAT YOUR FATHER AND I HAVE READ FROM THE REPORTS THAT WE WERE ALLOWED TO READ, WITH PERMISSION I MIGHT ADD, I WOULD THINK BETTER ABOUT WHAT YOU TWO ARE DOING TO THE POOR BOY!

HE MAY NOT BE IN THE SAME HOUSE AS YOU ARE NOW BUT HE IS STILL FAMILY WHERE WE STAND FROM AND I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT I AS YOUR MOTHER DONT LIKE BULLYING!

BULLYING IS SOMETHING ONLY COWARDS DO AND I HAVE NEVER BROUGHT UP MY CHILDREN TO BE COWARDS OR FOR THEM TO BE BULLIES! NEVER IN MY WILDEST DREAMS!

I WANT YOU BOTH TO THINK ABOUT WHAT COULD OF HAPPENED IF WE HAD FOUND THIS OUT SOONER RATHER THAN OVER CHRISTMAS OF ALL THINGS! CHRISTMAS YOU HEAR ME!!

THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU HAVE HURT YOUR FRIEND RICHARD WILLIAMS! YOU WERE HIS FIRST FRIEND AND NOW THIS IS HOW YOU ACT! JENNIFER DONT FOLLOW IN YOU BROTHER'S FOOTSTEPS I THINK YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE WRONG OLDER BROTHER HERE!

Patrick, Fritz, Garret please be the responsible older brother's I know you are, Fritz, Garret no pranks please, and keep your younger siblings in check, for me please and if Hadrian permits it let him tell you his story and how he came to be with the Professor.

He's shy but once you get to know the real him I think you three will find that Hadrian is a pucker young man that needs some guidance from some older brothers".

With that the Howler spat at them and ripped itself up in front of Richard, everyone looking at the two youngest Williams, Richard turning his sights right onto Harrison, making the poor boy flinch, Otiz's hackles were standing straight up and vapor coming out of his mouth as it say 'you hurt him and I'll rip your throat out in half a second'.

You would think Richard would back down but he didn't, he stood up and started screaming at Harrison with all his might about the in just that had occurred and how he got to his parents and about all the lies he had told them!! Anything and everything he could think of Richard said it making Harrison flinch and retreat into himself, this made Otiz jump up from beside Ben and almost attack Richard for what he had done until the Great Hall doors opened to reveal one Madeline Williams.

"Richard Williams I would hold your tongue where it is right now mister!" she screamed at him asking him drop back into his seat, once she was at the Gryffindor table standing behind the pair.

"It appears that you got my Howler and how disappointed your father and I are with the pair of you right now, I think it best that you both heed the warning there that if we find out that you have been bullying Hadrian once again I will take my wooden spoon and it will make contact with both of your rear ends in front of the whole school to watch like they had to watch you bully poor Hadrian".

All of her children as well as everyone in the Great Hall gulped at that, the older years as well as the teachers knew what Madeline Williams could do just like her children, she was a force you DID NOT want to cross.

Otiz came up to her and licked her hand like he did over Christmas and the nuzzled her as if to say thank you for stepping in, he then turned to the younger Williams and hissed and made snapping noises making them both jump sky high.

He next looked over at the other three red heads at the table, he took an instant like to the twins and licked their hands right away, Patrick on the other hand would take some time but he knew that he would stick with Harrison no matter what after what had just happened.

"Who..."

"...is..."

"...that?" the twins asked only to have Harrison come up to them with Salvatore and Demetrius behind them, after the whole panic attack was over, he was still shaking but otherwise fine if he had is father with him.

"This is Otiz my familiar, as you saw he is very protective of me and that if anyone tried to hurt me he WILL retaliate as you saw" said Harrison to them scratching Otiz behind the ears.

"Why did he lick us?" asked Patrick, only to have Salvatore answer as now Harrison had decided to retreat into his jet black robes hiding away, Otiz clearly standing in front of him.

"Otiz had marked you as a friend, like he has done to you're parents and older siblings, myself and the Magnus'. It is an honour for what type of species he is. Two of the most rarest animals around a Japanese Bakeneko and a Japanese Kitsune. So I would be careful to anger him" and with that he left the Great Hall with Harrison still hiding.

Madeline gave her two youngest a look at would even kill Kematian himself ten times over and left to go back home on having done a good job of installing fear, she hummed as she walked to the floo.
