As soon as Liah left me alone with Rage, I sat beside him in the couch as he just sighed heavily. The room is just filled with silence until he finally decided to open his mouth and speak.
“Why? Why does it have to be today? She misunderstood me Jax. And she didn’t even listen. I know that I already lost her trust for me years ago but it really hurts to see that the person who listens to you unconditionally in the past doesn’t even want me to hear me out now. And I know it’s all my fault and I don’t blame her but that s**t really hurts.” He sobbed still looking down with a voice obviously trying to hold back the tears.
