Liah’s POV
“Thank you Liah. You kept your promise.” Irene sincerely said.
After two weeks of consistently visiting her, I can see that she had a lot of improvements that even some of the staffs have thanked me saying that when I arrived, Irene has been brighter.
What did I do? After classes, I didn’t go the seat under the broken streetlight as usual because I went to the hospital where Irene is to keep my promise and to prove her that I really want to help her.
When I first came there, I remember her saying, "I didn't expect you to be here. You really kept your promise."
I think after all that happened to her, she didn't know who to trust anymore making her lock herself up from being a better and healed.
So, I came up to an idea to make her trust me first.
