Maiandra’s POV
Seeing Liah again made my heart jump out from different emotions. It brings a lot of things back which I though wouldn’t come back anymore.
She was just as shocked as me but I acted tough when I saw her until she left the office followed by Xian.
“How long has she been here? Why is she here?” I asked Jaxtyn after Liah and Xian got out of the room.
“She’s my assistant.” He explained still focusing on his work.
“How is she your assistant? Did she intentionally enter this company just to get you?” thinking about him working with her makes my heart feel nervous because it’s possible that the feelings they have before will come back again. I’m afraid for that to happen.
“I picked her. She didn’t intentionally go to work here.”
“Can’t you find another secretary?”
