I went back to Maiandra’s room after Liah left me behind saying that she will leave. Things really did turn out worse we than could ever imagine.
As I entered the door, I saw Jaxtyn there still standing and not moving an inch while Maiandra is weeping.
I went to her and gently rubbed her back to at least give her a bit of comfort.
“Where did she go?” she asked looking at me.
“She left, Maiandra. She told me she won’t come back and won't see us again.” I said disappointed and sad.
“She really chose to leave, huh?” she sarcastically said with a hint of sadness in her voice
“Do you blame me?” she asked me while looking at me in the eyes.
