Liah’s POV
I can’t understand. Why is Xian still so nice to him after all that he’s done?
“Liah, let’s talk.” He said with authority after we got out of Maiandra’s room.
“What should we be talking about? Aren’t you supposed to be angry or something? Why are you still so nice? Why are pretending to be strong and acting like all they did is fine to you?” He should be because the person fighting for her life inside that room is the one he loves.
“What’s the use of anger, Liah? And can you please stop locking yourself up with hatred? I hate seeing you like this!” What other feelings am I supposed to feel then?
“Then what should I feel? Happiness? I can’t, Xian. I can’t. I’ve had enough!” I want to cry right now. Why doesn't he want to understand me? I thought that he is on my side.
