"This is your starter menu, ladies and gentlemen, 'House Smoked Pacific Halibut with grapefruit, Avocado and blini. And for your second starter menu, we have prepared a special 'Herbed Polenta Cakes with fresh pesto and saved parmesan. Please enjoy," said the restaurant waiter fluently. They served the appetizer so elegantly. The maid opened the bottle of wine, looked at Ellena with a slight bow. "Let me pour some wine for you, lady," he asked for permission. Ellena nodded and smiled, holding her glass. "Okay thank you. Please pour also for Mr. Victor. Even if it's just a toast, I think you should have a drink, sir." Ellena looked at Victor with a sly smile. "Well, it's fine if it's just a little," Victor replied, raising an eyebrow. Ellena smiled and raised the glass that was already pouring wine. Victor followed him and, "For the results of your hard work so far," said Victor with a smile raising his glass, ready to toast. "And also for your success in advancing the Diamond Group and getting out of the crisis that had occurred. Thank you for being the best leader for us," replied Elle praising Victor. Ting! The surfaces of the glasses met, clinking to produce a sharp but beautiful sound. Victor and Ellena drank the wine in their hands while looking at each other. Continuing to stare into each other's eyes, Victor spread the napkin into his lap. "Please Mrs Watson," he said with a welcoming smile. Ellena also took the folded napkin in front of her and spread it out in her lap. They started the dinner together. Full course menus are issued sequentially according to the rules. Victor seemed to be enjoying his meal. Small pieces he put in his mouth. He ate neatly and quietly, the shimmer of the candlelight reflecting gently, showing the sides of his handsome and charming face. Ellena glanced at Victor a few times while cutting the steak on his plate. Not wanting to be caught in the silence. Ellena began to speak, "Regarding the report you asked for, sir. I have an idea, what if we-" Victor lifted his face at once and looked at Ellena with an unpleasant look. "Elle, I'm not in the mood to discuss work. Can we just enjoy dinner tonight?" Ellena's sentence suddenly stopped. Her heartbeat. Her hands felt cold. Ellena looked down guiltily at the topic she brought up. "Okay. I'm sorry, sir." Victor continued cutting the meat on his plate. "How about telling me about yourself?" he said, then moved his eyes briefly to Elle. "About me sir?" Ellena stammered. "Hmm." Victor nodded as he chewed his food. "Tell me about yourself. What do you like? What do you dislike? You've known all about me. In fact, almost all of my activities you manage. Then what about you?" Ellena smiled briefly. "I have nothing to tell you, sir." "Oh? Why is that?" "Even if I say it, I don't think it matters much to you." "What if I consider it important?" DEG! Ellena's heart hit again at Victor's words. She paused and stared blankly. Victor took the wine bottle beside him and poured it for Elle. "Relax. Come on, tell me about yourself. What do you do when you're not working?" "Sleep." Ellena answered briefly. Then took a sip of her wine. She was trying to calm the situation that made her flutter again. Victor frowned and smiled in surprise. "Sleep? Are you sleeping all the time?" "No sir, but, all the time I work for you." Victor was silent and let out a small sigh, and he seemed to be struck by Ellena's answer. "What about your friend? Do you have any close friends?" "All my time, I spend most of it with you sir. I don't have many friends. Only a few friends for work." "Oh nothing at all? Even if it's just friends chatting and drinking coffee?" "Ehm..." –Ellena made a thoughtful gesture- "I think it's just Garry and Manager Han." "Manager Han? What do you mean David Han in our company?" "Yes, sir. Manager Han helps me a lot at work. I am not very close to other employees." "What is your relationship with him? How close are you two?" Victor's face looks irritated. "Just a break with sir. And also a few lunches. There is nothing special other than a work relationship." Victor nodded while opening his mouth slightly. "Okay, starting tomorrow you have lunch with me! Uh, no. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. You must always accompany me." Ellena immediately frowned. "What do you mean? Didn't you give the wrong instructions? How can I-" "I don't accept excuses." "What if you have to have a meeting and eat with the client?" "You come with me!" "What if the Client asks for private?" "You wait for me." "Mr. Victor? Are you serious?" Ellena looked on in surprise. "If you need me, I will always be there for you." "I know that." Victor again poured the wine into Ellena's glass. Ellena looked down at her glass then let out a sluggish breath. "The wine is very good. It's not good to leave it, is it?" said Victor, immediately changing the topic. Ellena blinked quickly. "That's right sir. The wine is very good!" Ellena took another sip of the wine that Victor poured into her glass. At the same time resigned herself to letting go of her anger. *** Dinner continued, Ellena began to feel dizzy in her head. She shook her head quickly. "I can't be drunk!" Victor laughed funny seeing Ellena. "Okay enough, Elle!" Victor reached for the bottle of wine on the table that was half left. Ellena grabbed the bottle. "I can still finish it without getting drunk, sir. Hk!" Ellena hiccuped at the end of her sentence. Her tone had started to soften. Victor smiled again. "That's enough Elle's secretary. You can get even more drunk. U did a great job! And its enough." Victor pulled back the bottle of wine and pulled it away from Ellena "I can't get drunk!" Ellena rambled on again. "Yes Elle, you are not drunk. And we should go home." "Hm! Yes! We'd better go home, sir!" Ellena's eyes glazed over. It looked like the alcohol had taken a toll on her body. Victor just chuckled, showing his teeth. He turned and supported Ellena to stand. "Come on, let's go home, Elle." *** Victor carried Ellena up into the car. He fastened his seatbelt on Ellena. "Elle?" called Victor, trying to detect Ellena's level of consciousness. "Hmmm." Ellena just mumbled and leaned her head against the back of the car seat. Victor was stunned as he looked closely at Ellena's face. A small smile tugged at his lips again. Victor raised his hand slowly and gently patted Ellena's cheek. "Ellen, tell me where is your house?" "Mmm. Mmmmm!!" Ellena raved about her sleep being disturbed. Victor let out a short laugh again. "Elle? Where is your house?" Zzzz Zzzz Zzzz Ellena didn't answer and instead fell deeper into sleep. Victor exhaled. "Okay then. Don't blame me for taking you back to the hotel, secretary Elle." Victor shrugged his shoulders while looking at Ellena, who was fast asleep. He smiled crookedly as he sighed. Put the car into gear and ... Whuuuuzzzz! Victor's car drove fast, carrying Ellena, who was fast asleep beside him. "Looks like it's going to be a long night for me, secretary Elle!"
