The Exile

1890 Words
I hurried to Julius and attempted to rouse him from his eternal slumber, but he had already passed away. I have now lost the person I had a crush on. I have no hope left. The elders who were caring for Julius then pulled me back. “Head to bed in your own room. Remove the baby as ordered by the king. If you don’t want to grieve for the innocent child.” The elder’s words were accurate yet cutting. The king I created will now pursue my innocent child. I needed to get ready for the banishment of the land of Xendari. I followed the instructions given to me. I departed while the elders were taking care of my crush’s death. I was in disbelief that my intentions regarding Julius were ruined in just a minute. If I were to betray Anasazi by being with Julius, he would discover it and possibly harm both of us, including the baby. I thought about this issue while grieving in my private room. At that moment, I felt my mother's presence. At that moment, I felt the absence of my trusted friend, Sana. I hoped I could disappear during that same early morning. I felt fear as a strange wind blew into my room. This is the identical wind that arrived the day I conceived. I concealed myself under the blanket, only to be left exposed when the wind blew the covers away. I was left cradling the sleeping baby in my arms. I whispered multiple choices with my eyes closed. I then observed and admired the alpha’s appearance. What was his purpose for being in my room? To marry me. Absolutely not, no chance. I am not prepared to become the wife of an unfamiliar alpha. “This is our friendly visit. We have no ill intentions, we only desire shelter in your world. Allow my son to construct the base of our home in this location.” The Alpha’s way of speaking gave me the feeling of being in a dream. “You sexually assaulted me and caused me to become pregnant. I am now despised by my own child. I’m saying that your child was hated. What did you expect to achieve?” I screamed as I sat on my bed, clutching my baby close. I looked at the alpha and his companions and noticed the reflection of shame in their eyes. “Tomorrow, I am going on a journey to visit someone who has been forced to leave their home. I would appreciate being left by myself. I am capable of dealing with my problems.” It’s as though I have offended the Alpha. Immediately, he and his group of friends transformed into werewolves and a mournful howl echoed throughout the palace. Everyone was terrified and froze in fear. There was a knock on the door. It is indeed certain that a conflict will erupt within my household. I didn’t mean for this to happen. “Kindly depart from my presence. I will go after you. I trust that we will see each other in Xendari. I have no idea what type of place it is. However, I must steer clear of violence.” He paid attention to my calming voice. They were swayed by the wind. After that, I approached the door and came face to face with my husband and his troops. Upon their arrival, they thoroughly searched the private room for the alpha but came up empty-handed. I noticed that he was now staring intently at my child. I grabbed him and embraced him in my arms. I was unable to contain my distress and cried as the baby kept crying. I relied on my inner strength and the support of the elders in my room to successfully resist and overcome his attempts to take my child from me. “Where is the creature that cried in your room? Where can I find them?” His loud voice made me quiet. I was unable to discern their whereabouts. I could tell that my son had become the creature they claimed was dangerous. Allow the king to go back to rest. At dawn, the queen and her baby would be banished. An older person gave guidance. Truly, Anasazi listened to him. As a result, they exited my room, leaving me to console my child. Tripodal was devoid of peace because of my child’s presence, making me feel responsible for his uniqueness. After comforting him, we went back to sleep and faced no further difficulties until the morning. “Is that you, Mom? Wait!” What was your way of entering this place? Do you live in Xendari?” I was incredulous at the person I saw in my room. I had to ask several questions. I felt frightened simultaneously. “You are not hallucinating, my dear. I have a strong connection to my spiritual beliefs. Do you recall when I transported you from your hospital bed to the cave? I am a magician, not a sorceress. I save lives instead of taking them. I have arrived to help cure you.” I listened as her voice approached my bedside. I looked up and realized it was already morning. I am supposed to make breakfast for my husband, but now I am a danger to him. Because he despises my child. I remained propped up on my hands in bed as I carried on a conversation with my mother. “Let me take care of the baby. Determine whether you are still his spouse or if you have been substituted.” She offered recommendations that had potential downsides. How do I persuade my husband to rekindle his love for me? I recall the recent hours I spent at the council meeting, where they persuaded me to part with my child and subsequently demonstrate his love for me. I suppose my mother is correct. I gazed at her and told her, “You understand. I must follow your instructions. Allow me to demonstrate his affection for you.” After waking up, I handed over my child to my mother to hold. “Look after my kid. I will keep an eye on things.” I had the reassuring words from her as I exited the door. After I finally emerged from the room, she proceeded to lock it. Walking through the palace, I felt like a regular queen in the eyes of the people. Upon entering my husband’s room, I felt unsure about continuing in my position. One of the advisors to the king noticed me and gestured for Anasazi to take a closer look at me. Next, everyone who was with him looked in my direction. I could sense their unwelcoming atmosphere as they remained silent. Thus, I must talk in order to communicate my plea. “As the Queen, I have arrived to make breakfast for you.” I had a smile on my face as I spoke, walking towards my husband. A deductive agent failed to excite him. Neither do I feel his desire for me. I could discern the inquiries in his mind. “Kindly give us space.” He spoke to his advisors. Certainly, they exited the bedroom and I was left alone with my husband. “You have concealed the child in some place. Inform me that you did not arrive with the intention to deceive me using your mother’s charm.” His weakness was evident in his words. He consistently had doubts about me. I had to remember the period from when we first met until we got married. I could now sense the confinement of my marriage. I inquired of him, “what are your desired actions for me?” Having my arms embraced around his neck. “A powerful entity with ever-changing appearances is considered a danger to how I live. The sole choice is to banish the mother and child to the brutal, merciless world of Xendari.” His response indicated to me that he grasped my connection with the magical child. He had no means of dividing us. I politely inquired again, “So, are you saying you’ve left your wife? This demonstrates that you have never truly cared for her”. He averted her eyes from me. I witnessed the pain in his heart. Truly, my child is a responsibility he is unable to carry. I also had no other option. There’s no way a woman would just murder her innocent baby for no apparent reason. I observed him as he made his way to the window. Then I listened as he said, “The elders have become more cautious about the child’s skills. Their initial awe transitioned into a profound dread of the possibility of devastation.” I could sense from his words that a few senior members were fueling his jealousy towards my child. I suppose they never cared for me. I replied, ‘I need to attempt to talk things through with the older ones.’” I will persuade them that my son’s abilities are a blessing, evidence of the exceptional qualities within our species. Shaking his head, he faced me and remarked, “However, they have already decided, so now you and your son will have to depart from the only place you’ve ever called home.” I was shocked that even my husband could stay loyal to the evilness of the elders. I cried, thinking he would show compassion, but a knock at the door interrupted him. I was aware that the issue pertained to my child. I received information from the guard that, “several guards were suddenly unable to see when trying to enter the queen’s bedroom.” Anasazi glanced at me, and I could sense that I was under suspicion. “Have they arrived?” Upon turning around to face me, he inquired. I was unsure about the person he was talking about. I found it difficult to communicate orally. He exited the room and was trailed by his guard. I had to hurry after him since it was my mother in my room. I yelled while chasing after him, “My mom is in my room with the baby.” A tremble could be heard in my voice as I cried. I am a woman who experiences strong feelings. My tears are constantly on the brink of escaping my eyes. He proceeded to yell, “if your mother is a witch, she deserves to be set on fire.” I prayed for my mother to disappear with the baby, just like she did after Karin was born. The guard entered my bedchamber by breaking the door and discovered that it was empty. I was ecstatic to discover that my mother had disappeared with the child. The confrontation between the guards and the king began. I noticed an opportunity to step in. I witnessed some of the guards who were blinded by my mother being guided by other guards. The king gave me a fierce stare with his eyes resembling those of a lion, as if he was ready to consume me. I needed to hold my position to protect my mother and my child. It was apparent to me that she would be pursued and executed because of the curse she had placed on the guards.
