Chapter 14 (Baby)

Once we heard the rumble of the bikes we let out a breath of relief. I look behind us and I can no longer see the black SUV. The motorcycles must of spooked him. Milly abruptly stoped the car and jumped off to meet the guys who were now surrounding us. Milly was crying and shaking in Crows arms. I on the other hand was frozen in place.
“Kitten are you okay?” Luke opened my door and examine me but I didn’t respond. He found me! That’s all I could think about was my father and his cruelness. He will destroy my happiness and make me suffer for disobeying him.
“Your bleeding!?!” Luke said
“What?” I looked at him confused
He took off his shirt and pressed it against my forehead.
“Ouch” I flinched back but he easily grabbed me and held me against him.
“We should take her to the hospital. Rider will kill us if anything happens to her” Crow said
“I’m fine” I tried to stand up but I felt extremely dizzy and nauseous. I groan in pain and closed my eyes. Darkness creeped in and I passed out in Luke arms.
Rider (Jake)
We stopped at a gas station to fuel up the bikes. I glanced at my phone and saw a miss call from my girl. I dial her number but no answer. Then I get a call from Crow.
“Hey, uh uh Prez something happen” he sounds scared, it’s not like him
“What?” I bark out
“Alli’s at the hospital” he says in a low tone
I feel my body go cold at the thought of my baby girl injured.
Blade and I rush to the hospital and see half the crew standing outside her room. Crow comes up to me
“What happen!?!” My voice is filled with rage
“Alli snuck out with Milly...they..they left to the beach but on their way back they were rear ended by a black SUV by the time we got there the SUV had disappeared. Alli had a cut on her forehead then fainted so we brought her here to the hospital. Doc had surgery scheduled so he couldn’t check on her but a female doctor did.”
I’m shaking with anger and I want to murder someone. Why is she always disobeying me when all I want to do is protect her. Blade tries to enter the room with me but I shake my head to let him know I want him to stay outside.
Im prepared to yell and punish her but once I see tears in her eyes I immediately lose all anger and go to her. She makes me weak but I don’t care. I love her and someone tried to take her away from me.
“It’s okay..I’m here” I coo at her
Soon her cries turn to sniffles and I can’t help but think how beautiful my baby girl is even when she cries. She’s my entire world.
“I’m sorry” she says
“I know baby girl.. I know” I wipe her tears away
“Do you know who was in the SUV?” I question her hoping she does
She nods her head but avoids eye contact with me
“Baby girl tell me who?”
She doesn’t say anything and it pisses me off.
“I will not ask twice?!?”
“My...my father” she mumbles
“Who is your father?”
“I...I...ca..can’t”
“You infuriate me women not only do you put yourself in danger but also the club. You and Milly could have been seriously hurt today. Do you think I can’t handle myself and deal with your father? Do you think I’m weak?!?” I shout at her tired of playing nice guy. I need answers and I need them now!
She opens her mouth but before she can say anything there’s a knock on the door. A female doctor walks in.
“Hi, I see you got company” she says
Alli just smiles back at her
“So, we did a full check up on you and got your test results back” she stares at me not sure if she should continue.
I glare at her “Is everything okay?”
“ You don’t have a concussion and the cut should heal in a couple of days. Luckily you didn’t need stitches. But your test results did show your umm.. well pregnant”
“Wh..what?” Alli stutters
“Your pregnant” she says again
With trembling hands, she gently places them on her flat stomach. She looks up at me with those beautiful ocean blue eyes. I put my hand over her’s and kiss her temple. My baby girl is going to have my baby.
“I love you and our baby. You’ve made me the happiest man alive.” This time I kiss her on the lips. The kiss is deep and rough. We’ve never talked about having kids but we knew what we were doing when were having unprotected s*x.
“You really are happy?” She questions
“Yes baby girl, I want nothing more than for you to carry my child”
The doctor stays for a while longer telling us important pregnancy things and to set up with a regular OBGYN doctor as soon as possible. But to be honest I don’t trust no one other than Doc to touch my babies. So he will handle everything from now on.
My baby girl yawns causing me to stare at her. Even though I want to grill her and force her to tell me who her father is. I know today she’s had enough and needs to rest.
“Are you tired?”
She nods “Yes, can we go home now”
The next day I wake with Alli in my arms. I can’t believe she’s pregnant. I’m happy and worried at the same time. I need her to tell me who her father is so I can kill that mother f*cker. I don’t want her to live in fear.
“Good morning daddy” she says playfully joking but I kinda like it.
“Good morning baby girl”
I kiss her forehead. “I'll go get breakfast you stay in bed”
She pouts “I want to have breakfast with the guys plus I didn’t get a chance to talk to Jason. He must be so worried.”
“No, I want you to stay in bed all day today and rest” my voice is deep
She rolls her eyes at me
“Baby girl, if you do that again I’ll bend you over and spank you.”
“Your going to be one of those overbearing control freak dads aren’t you” she says and she’s not wrong
“Your mine... my job is to protect you” I say sternly
“Fine but I’m craving blueberries”
“Blueberry pancakes coming up”
