Pain shot through my foot as it slammed into something hard, and I face-planted in the dirt. Lifting my head, I tried to get up but my foot was caught on a large rope-like vine. I struggled for several minutes before I was able to get free.
Scrambling to my feet, I froze as I saw the tallest alien I had ever seen standing in my path. Its skin was greenish brown and patterned like a snake. The Tidrol alien had four arms and two legs with one large eye in the center of its forehead. Its muscular legs were covered with a furry pelt over his groin area. He was only a few yards from me, but it felt like he was closer.
