I gently shook her shoulder. Amber slept like the dead. Waking her up in the mornings was always interesting. She leaned toward me and snuggled into my body seeking my warmth. When her eyes opened, her cheeks turned pink, and she hid her face from me. I’m looking forward to the day when she is no longer shy with me. I wanted it all: her happiness, pleasure, and pain. She and I have more in common than I knew.
