"I have no relationship with him. I just don't want others to get involved because of me," Evelyn Ross said seriously, frowning slightly. "That's good. Don't forget, you're still an employee of MacLeod's group," Finn MacLeod said coldly. "It's foolish and ridiculous to have close contact with a competitor."
"I'm sorry, I misunderstood this time," Evelyn lowered her head slightly. "I won't comment on the strategy against Hayes's group anymore."
Evelyn had no relationship with Liam Hayes anymore. Since Finn wasn't targeting Hayes's group because of her, she saw no reason to give Finn any more advice. And there was no "later" anymore. Neither Liam nor Finn had anything to do with her anymore. She didn't need to care about what kind of image she had in their eyes.
