Chapter Sixteen
Gina’s eyes popped open when she heard a sound in the bedroom she’d chosen. It was probably more accurate to say chosen for her since Connor had complained about using a single bed and wanted the room with the double bed rather than the two singles. When she rolled onto her side, Gina saw Seth grab a pillow and blanket off the other bed in her room.
He looked towards her. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“You don’t have to sleep on the couch.”
“Are you sure?”
Gina smiled. “We’ve already shared a bed, is there a problem with sharing a room?”
Seth laughed softly. “I guess not.”
“Did you manage to do whatever you were trying to do on the computer?”
He put the pillow and blanket back on the bed before he faced her again. After a moment he shook his head. “No.”
