Chapter Nineteen
Gina looked at the other shadowy figures in the four-wheel-drive. They could have been ninjas with their black clothes and balaclavas that completely hid them. All that was visible were their eyes. Seth’s phone rang once and fear and excitement shivered through Gina. It was hard to believe they were going to break into the place. They’d only learned about it yesterday. That didn’t seem like enough time to plan properly.
“Places everyone,” Seth whispered.
They carefully opened car doors and quietly closed them. The interior light stayed dark, having been turned off earlier. Gina walked along the side of the road and listened to the night, waiting.
