Chapter Eleven Seth declared them all well at three twenty-two. He also explained the virus didn’t survive long out of the host so none of their gear was contagious either. With a shopping list and some of the money from Douglas’ wallet, Ashley took the car and headed out. Unable to sit still, Gina first stripped the bed in the sewing room and put the sheets on to wash, then headed for the kitchen. By the time Ashley returned home, Gina had baked a loaf of bread, put a casserole on for dinner, made a chocolate slice and an apple teacake. Seeing the food on cooling racks on the kitchen benches, Ashley grinned. “Oh good.
