KYLE'S POV I sat at the head of the long decorated dining table. My fingers drummed anxiously against the surface. Candles flickered in the dim light. I had prepared a candle lit dinner for me and Rose. Different kinds of food and the wine sat in the center, untouched. The maids had outdone themselves tonight, everything set perfectly for a night that I hoped would be a new beginning for Rose and me. But she was late.
