"Father, what are they doing?" I asked hesitantly, looking at the Pearls- the second most substantial family after us, whose faces were covered as they bend on their knees, looking down. "What is about to happen, Adrian is a lesson for all of us. The punishments of renegades." Father replied. I was twelve, only a few people were there to witness this. "Where are others then?"
"Only those who know the truth are here." He replied. I gulped sharply and nodded, not knowing what they are going to do with them.
Soon Father Gordon came with Jeremy behind him who send r****h stares in my direction, making me hide behind Father. "We are Sacred! And if anyone defies this reality, he will pay its consequences!" He announced which infuriated me.
