That night, Alexei called them all to the study. Maps were spread across the table. Phones. Files. Weapons. “This is your father’s next move,” Nikolai said. Anya walked closer. “You’re sure?” “Very,” he replied. “He thinks you’re unstable now.” Dmitri added, “He thinks we’ll be distracted.” Anya gave a small smile. “Good.” Alexei looked at her. “You’re enjoying this.” “I’m using it,” she said. He didn’t respond, but something in his eyes shifted. Respect. Maybe. Nikolai pointed at the map. “There’s a shipment tomorrow night.” “A trap?” Anya asked. “Yes,” Dmitri said. “For us.” Anya crossed her arms. “Then we don’t walk into it blindly.” Alexei nodded. “Exactly.” She stepped closer to the table. “We flip it.” Dmitri raised a brow. “How?” We let him think it’s working, she said. “Then we hit from behind.” “I guess it nice he gets a surprise”,she thought almost loudly Silence. Then Nikolai smiled slightly. Smart. Dmitri looked impressed. “You’ve done this before.” Anya didn’t answer. Alexei watched her closely. We’ll do it your way, he said.
