Chapter Three

I was in a dilemma, as I stood like a statue in front of them, not knowing what to do, I started to panic, hands sweating, and soon covered in my own sweats,

" Dance for us they repeated",this time it was Lucas interrupting the air, -"show us what you have got there", he said again,

laughing hard this time, I am sure there, those legs of yours can perform some magic, he said disgustingly, because i saw the eye, he used to look at me,

"show us girl", Aaron shouted, laughing like a maniac, I hissed internally as I wished I could pour them spit, they were having joy in someone else's pain,

You can do this, I heard one of the b***h friends talk for the first time, I looked at the hole whose face wanted to make me poke, I had to hold myself,

"show us what those useless ass yours can do", she shouted this time around, obviously jealous this time around,

I started to panic seriously, because it seems that they are backing down anytime soon, I looked left and right to check if anyone could come to my rescue, but known was forthcoming,

I knew, they were having the best time of their lives, knowing I was the shy type, who wouldn't talk outside, except being talked to, they know I don't like making myself known in the public, the way they useless themselves,

I decided if I want to get out of here, I need to dance quickly and excuse myself to my room, I held the tears that threatened to fall, the hatred I had for my parents increased as I was being forced to bear their sins

Like why did they give birth to me, into this cruel world, when they know they won't be there for me,

Why did they commit such a crime?, was it because of money, and leave me to bear the consequences as their only child and daughter, like.... HOW COULD THEY BE THIS CRUEL, AND DIDN'T THINK OF ME BEFORE THEY TOOK THAT STEP, THAT LEAD TO THEIR DEATH AND THE BEGINNING OF MY SUFFERING, I screamed in my mind, sobbing internally,

I bent my head in defeat, about to start dancing, suddenly someone spoke up,

"Becca don't be such a b***h, and let her go", Matt said, in a way that took me by surprise, he had always bullied me along with his best friends and why was he suddenly standing up for me now,

Aaron grunted, his nose flared up, and spoke up, "Do you realize that you are talking to my mate, and the future Luna of the Moonlight pack, he said,

"She may be your sister, but there is a place that you should respect her, since her status is above yours now", he said obviously angry now,

which got the b***h smiling triumphantly, what a b***h I said under my breath, careful not to let anyone hear me,

At this point, I know I don't have a choice, than to start dancing as instructed, I started to dance, moving my body to the rhythm of the song being played.

Becca just stood up and walked towards me, smiling evilly as she was coming, "take this, she pointed a cup to me and drink",she said,

I pondered in my heart, whether to drink it or not, but the witch, before me wasn't backing down at all, so I had no choice than to drink it, she gave another one again until my eye started spinning and I started to lose my strength,

It was until then that I realized what was in the drink she gave me, she gave me a drink laced with wolfsbane, I held my throat to vomit it but it was already too late, this reaction caused them to laugh loudly,

With the little strength I had in me,I ran away from them, as far as my legs could carry me, bumping into people as i went, i couldn't hold the tears anymore, they fell graciously,

everything became still, I started to hear people's laughter underneath me, it was as if I was soaring higher above them, it was as if the moon goddess was ready to come take me away from this cruel world,

I was partially happy because at least my sorrows will be gone, and I will be able to see my parents even though I hated them, I still love them a little, I wanted to ask them,-why they did that ?, who paid them to do what they did?

I was also unhappy because I haven't met my mate, I haven't felt the mate pull yet,

And I thought it was the end of the world, I fell and fell into deep darkness, not caring about this world again.
