Chapter four

I woke up with a bang in my head, which made me hissed loudly, when I actually thought my misery was finally over,

I tried standing but couldn't move my leg, I lazily opened my eyes, just for me to see that I was in a strange bed and also a strange room,

"How come I am here?", I asked no one in particular, I tried again to stand up, this time, I could move my leg a little, I used all of my strength, to finally sit on the bed,

I started cracking my brains, to see how I did I ended up here, but nothing was forth coming into my head, all i remembered people laughing and hissing, calling me the betrayal's blood, and saying all manner of evil things,

I hissed again, because they couldn't even hide their hatred, even in front of visitors, it isn't as if they themselves are saints, I remember falling into a strong arm and everything as everything became dark and still.

As I was lost in thought the door suddenly opened,and I saw someone poking their head through the door, when the person came into view, I saw that it was Matt

I was shocked, "why did he help me??", I asked

myself ...

"Finally you are awake", he said tiredly, you were out for three days now, he said,

"For real?"-I asked timidly, "yes you were sleeping for three days now", he responded to my question without insulting me,

You didn't respond to treatment, as the doctors were treating you, we all thought you could finally die, he said again, but thank the moon goddess you are finally here, he said smiling this time around

I just stared at him, doing as if I heard wrong, "You saved me ?,I asked this time", "Oh about that, he said, i had too at least someone has to be responsible, i just nod my head, as I stared at him".

Why was he being nice to me??, I asked myself again,

"Freshen up and come downstairs to eat something", he said, I looked at him again, as if I heard wrong,

He turned to leave, then I summoned up the courage in me, and asked,

"Why are you being nice to me?, or do you feel guilty of what your sister did to me?, I asked meanly

He didn't answer my question but pointed to a cloth beside the bed stand and told me to put that in when I was done, and left the room immediately,

I joined him downstairs, surprised to meet only him there, as if, knowing what I was thinking, he asked me to come and take my seat, which I did voluntarily, i was starving so I don't have a voice,

My parents aren't around, they went for pack business, and my sister is in her mate's house, he said, so feel free with me, he said smiling, "and I don't bite", he said laughing,

I didn't even wait for him to ask me to eat before I started eating, not even caring If I was being poisoned again, he looked at me and smiled, though I am not the free with him yet,but I know if I miss this opportunity of eating this food, I may not see it again,

So, I practically ate all that was served on the table, while he ate only little, he was watching me all the whole we were eating which was creepy to me,

when we were done, and ready to leave then he called me back and said,

I am sorry for what my sister did to you, and what my friends did to you, he apologized with a sincere face, which was a surprise to me, I didn't say anything but only smile and nod my head,

He opened the door for me to go, getting outside I saw Aaron resting on his car waiting for someone,

He pointed his finger at me and gestured for me to come to come closer, which I did, Matt following beyind, I started sensing something in the air,

why was Aaron waiting for me with his car outside, I asked no one in particular, and Matt was so good to me, why??
